I will be home alone most of the month; hubby is in Wisconsin for 4 weeks, from Mon Nov 4, to Tues Dec 3. Hubby's Dad passed away on Oct 21; he's going to spend some time with his brother, sister-in-law, and Mom. He works from home, so he can do that anywhere 💜.
I'll be in WI for a celebration of life the weekend of Nov 16th, and in NY for US Thanksgiving Thu and Fri, but other than those days, I'm actually looking forward to solitude for a little bit. I have some things I want to get done, or at least started. And I can concentrate on my freggies without annoying hubby with meal experiments and the like ;-).

You lunch looks sooooooo good! I did see it earlier, in the soup thread, but wow it looks great. So, my 'little bit of a cold this week' is actually COVID . Just tested tonight, got a positive result, realized the kit was expired, so tested again with the kits that just came in the mail from the CDC free covid tests at home thru the USPS program. Positive again 🤧😷
I've had no fever, only cold symptoms, since Tuesday. Sore throat on Monday, but it went away by afternoon. I've never had COVID before, so this is my first go around. At least it seems like just a cold ... that is making me really really tired 🥱

My lunch and dinner are a copy/paste of the last couple days. whole grain cream of wheat, with pitted dates and almonds for lunch; protein tea for breakfast; broccoli & cheese stuffed breaded chicken breast, with lemon juice, and roasted broccoli & carrots. I haven't eaten dinner yet, tho it is pretty late. This will be tonight's dinner, after I plate it and warm it, of course Leftovers from the last 2 nights:
