Good morning BBB friends.
Steady rain last night kept the number of kids out down. It really was pretty miserable. I saw groups of three or four, where there have been bands of a dozen or more in the past.
Rita found a couple large bowls that warped a bit after I brought them in the house. Wood does that as it fully dries. Now I have to figure out how to get the bases flat. People don't mind a bit of an oval shape, but they want the bowl to sit flat, without a wobble. Fun challenge.0 -

- DW and I are headed to Georgia Military College today. Our veteran's club is presenting some scholarships to freshman in the preparatory program trying to get into one of the military academies.
- Nice motorbike ride yesterday.

I'm at hospital with dsil for her 5th (this one is really really major) back surgery. Removing all failed broken hardware, untwisting her spine, repairing, anchoring to pelvis... 5 to 8 hour or more surgery, depending. Then 2 or 3 nights in ICU and likely a 7 day or more stay after. Surgeon spine specialist says she'll feel like she was run over by a truck. This is a serious surgery.... dh will move into her home to dog sit tonight... for as long as needed. He'll come visit me and do our leaves, yard work etc.

Good Morning,
Only had about 75 kids come by last night.
Taking Pablo for his morning walk, could have picked up a good bit of candy that had been dropped; what irks me is amount of candy wrappers littering subdivision. Kids that came to our house were very polite and most stayed on drive and walk instead of cutting across grass.
No chance of rain here till next Thursday, last rain we saw was September 29th.
10 point breakfast, need to learn to watch it for it was not worth points, but I tracked it.

Morning gang.
Had fun out with friends last night. The band was a bit loud for conversation but overall a good time. A few really good costumes. They went to another bar after but we came home at 9. Ron just does better with a consistent bedtime and I have a volunteer shift today so no complaints out of me.0
