@DaffyGirl88 your quilting projects are wonderful.I love the table runner too with the autumn leaves & lovely colours.
The last time I tried quilting I was at school & that's a long time ago.
I like doing freehand embroiderey & fabric painting,I've not done any in a while.Youve inspired me to start up again 😃

    My steps,
I planned to go for a walk in the park today but it didn't happen.I only walked to the Post Office to take a parcel. Then spent the rest of the day doing laundry & cleaning.

@jessicakrall8 – Seeing and acknowledging those little snippets of kindness is so incredibly valuable. You really sound hopeful despite this tough time, and I hope that brings even more kindness and healing your way.

I really admire your mindset, especially the reminder that every pound lost takes 7 lbs of pressure off your joints. It’s such an important perspective! And honoring your body by easing back into the 10k steps shows incredible patience and self-awareness. Your strength and perseverance are inspiring. You're doing an amazing job—keep it up! 💪

@Cyncia85 I truly needed this today...thank you for your kindness!! Love you!

Good morning Shape Shifters. Weather wasn't nice when I got up, but there was eventually a dry period so I went for a short and boring walk just to get it done. I got a bunch more groceries after. The rest of the day was very lazy. It took a lot of effort to cook and I also put off my gym rings, but eventually ended up doing it after dinner. I got my new kitchen scale very late in the evening. Since it wasn't expensive enough to get free shipping, I also got a puzzle that was on my wish list. It had dropped in price a lot so I decided to get it now. Happy Tuesday everyone <3

Good morning! ^_^ I hit my calories yesterday, which was a win, but fell asleep before I could do yoga. This morning, I prepped some chickpea mac (which is delicious!) and broccoli for lunch, plus had half a protein shake and some oatmeal.

The real challenge for me, temptation-wise, is going to be the banana upside-down cake my dad requested for tonight. I could probably make a small slice work into my calories, but I'm feeling very invested in my savory charcuterie-esque after-school snack today (olives, pita chips, pickles, carrot sticks, and hummus--yum!) so I'm leaning toward just skipping it.

Good morning Shape Shifters. We got the first snow of the winter, but it was a wet and slushy mess. I already planned to skip my walk so I could clean. I did laundry, vacuumed the bedrooms, the stairs, cleaned the bathroom, the toilet and I wrestled the winter duvet in the cover for the guest bed. I still struggle a lot with taking a rest day and feel I 'should' work out, but I convinced myself that cleaning was already enough. I had a bit of a hungry day which usually happens if I don't have a walk to keep me busy in the morning. The baklava was calling my name, but I stuck to my 1 piece and stayed on track with my food. Tinus only wanted outside once so we had a pretty lazy day with lots of laptime. Happy Wednesday everyone <3

    Wednesday weigh in
    PW: 210.9
    CW: 209.6
A little disappointed with this loss. My weight randomly went up twice and several times it didn't change at all so it was a super slow week. Wed 210.9 - Thu 210.9 - Fri 211.2 - Sat 211.6 - Sun 210.9 - Mon 209.8 - Tue 209.8 - This morning 209.6. I hope this week will be better. My mom will be here Thursday. I will cook for us once, but besides that I plan to stick to my own food and routine.

@Pupowl don't be disappointed, any loss is a win in my book, even if it's only .01 😊

    Happy Wednesday!!

Weight was way higher during the past week so I call this a win in my book + I have started weights again doing Sydney Cummings November calendar I also joined her "squad" it was $9.99 for a new member first month as I wanted to see how it works before I committed if it goes well, I will gift a membership to myself for the year for Christmas as we just bought a new stove as ours went out and Christmas tree for downstairs so no gifts between me and my husband this year - she just found out she's pregnant with her 2nd child so we'll see
