Good morning and greetings from Day 3 in Rome.

Thanks to a highly scientific combination of beer and coffee, my pain level after walking a ton over the past 2 days is only about a 12/10. It was off the charts yesterday evening.

    Mornin' BBB

Glorious Lou. Sorry about the pain. Feet or back? I hear bourbon and beer is better for pain. Hope you are not sensitive to the sulfites in wine, if you are having wine with your pasta.
DST! Took advantage and slept in. Dogs wanted to get up at regular time.
Transported pheasant for early stocking, then drove M to the airport, then back home, then work yesterday morning. All before 8:30 AM. 3 plus hours of driving. Needless to say, hit the hay early and loved the extra hour.
M loves her 2024 RAV4 that will live in Colorado. DS convinced her to find a front wheel drive version, because the all wheel drive models seem to have lots of issues that you don't have to worry about with the front wheel drive only models. He was a "wrench" in his former life. Guess the front wheel drive models are a bit scarce.
LOVE chili cook offs and old man bands.
    Small world, Dennis.

    Good morning!

Hope you have a great vacation Lou! Take a rest day for your aches.

Coffees on, laundry going, making some pumpkin bread for dsil and a loaf for my freezer for holiday use.

I went for an AWD suv based on our snow fall, winter driving conditions. Always thought awd was better in snow? Hmmmm

I'm with Lee this week, also living alone while dh dog sits. He'll visit here later.

Rain coming in today, we haven't had much in awhile!

Big game at Lambeau today, Go Packers!

    G"Morning
    • X's 2 days sleeping in while DW did the #MotherTuckers morning routine. #Blessed
    • Amazing photo's Lou! Hope you and C are enjoying!
    • I'm "shopping" for what's next. Got my eye on a Ineos Grenadier Fieldmaster. (Google it). AMAZING! Only problem, the only dealer is 90 mins from me. Thinking service will be a PITA!
    • Amazing concert last night. Blew through my weeklies on Miller Lite. Alas, will have to make it up now through Friday.
    • 'hood honored my neighbor yesterday with a "Quilt of Valor" - it was special to see this salty VietVet honored. Ray was awarded a Bronze Star and PH for his service in 'Nam. The ladies made a BEAUTIFUL quilt to honor him!

    Good morning BBB friends.

DST is gone, Lee. You're in EST now.

Always nice to see veterans recognized. But Dennis, when did our contemporaries start looking so old?

Enjoy the sights, Lou, just don't try to do it all in a day. Love the photos.

I misspoke. I meant the end of DST in the fall back to standard time. I do love DST from March to November since it does gives me more useful daylight hours here in the North East. I think I would have preferred it to end a wee bit sooner.

    Morning gang

What a nice tribute to a vet.

    Lou amazing photos.

We didn't do much yesterday. Yoga then visited a couple fo art galleries. One had some originals but lots of mass marketed stuff. The other was more craft items. We are taking g a class there on Wednesday to make some coasters, which we need for the condo.

Day of the dead events were happening all over but we just didn't feel like going so stayed hime and played our video game. Today probably a hike then maybe somewhere for music.

Allison won her VB game last night so off to the state tournament they go. They are currently 33-0 and ranked #1 in their class. Wish I could be there next weekend but the logistics are terrible

    Good Sunday afternoon BBB friends.
. Allison and team must be really good.
. Great pics Lou. Pace yourself. More cappuccino and pastries while watching the world walk by may be in order.
. Nice honor for your veteran neighbor Skip. Maybe it will improve his demeanor.
. Dave, we remember when the WW2 vets were the old guys. Us Vietnam vets are taking their place. Better than the alternative I suppose.
. Ineos Grenadier Fieldmaster. Hmm. Makes a Jeep Gladiator look conservative.
    . Enjoy your company Mary
