    Good morning, folks.

My wife is trying to kill me.

After arriving in Venice around lunchtime, she proceeded to march my butt all around town looking in every shop window and church to rack up 17k steps of what I call museum walking. My knees and back were pretty much destroyed yesterday. Her big winnings yesterday were a bracelet from a chotchke shop and a pack of cookies.

Today, because it's Italy, the boats are on strike. So we'll have to hoof it from our hotel on the north side to St. Mark Square on the south side to see and do something other than just shopping.

    Mornin' BBB

Quoting Mussolini? Is that because of the Museum walk was more like a death march?
Venice and no boat taxies? I would blame the US Election.
I looked up the way to spell the pleural of taxi. Either taxis or taxies.
I would try that tiramisu, either one.
Southampton England, Dennis? I do not believe any big boats depart from Southampton NY, and Southampton MA is landlocked.
I only read breaking news, sports news and commentary, comics, and The Economist. Mostly comics.

    BBB OP ;-)

Bataan death marches are one way to offset the amazing tiramisu. That’s a lot of steps. And I hate to sweat.

WI morning. Then weekend of houseful. DBIL and family. Will try to stay OP.

Started Lipitor yesterday. Headache is worse. Though common side effect. Will be glad to get next week over.

    Safe travels home, Lou.

    Good morning BBB friends.

Very sorry to read of your heart issues, Skip. Good to have a diagnosis, though. Stay strong. We'll be praying.

Cloudy, cool day - pretty much a normal November. I didn't get out with Sassy yesterday. Rita had me drive her to a local casino instead. She won $300, I broke even. Par for the course. Today she wants me to put hangers on a group of tiny Christmas trees and snowmen I made years ago, so they can be sold as ornaments. Being ordered to my shop is not a bad thing.

Yes, very sorry to hear about the carotid plaque, Skip. Are they talking the roto rooter procedure?

    Good Morning,
Heavy mist this morning walking Pablo, he was soaked when we got back. Sun is beginning to break through now.
Sorry about having to have a cath Skip, but they can do so much now. They can now go through wrist which is much easier for you; I now view caths about like an x-ray. I do not tolerate satins but they have Colesevelam Hydrochloride for oral suspension that brings cholesterol down as well as blood sugar. Call when you have time, I have a few stents.
Beautiful pics, Cecillia is looking out for you Lou, trying to watch your weight while you are eating desserts.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Lou, I thought I saw that domed building on the canal implode in a James Bond movie?!?
    • Yes Lee, Southhampton, England. The embarkation port for our transatlantic cruise. Three weeks from today we will be touring Normandy.
    • I agree with Dave, Skip. Good to have a diagnosis. Not necessarily what you want to hear but now they know what to do to fix it.
    • I am not in a foreign country, but we are going out for Mexican food tonight.
