Well, just went down in the parking lot at my hotel. No clue what I tripped on. Half asleep taking pups out for first morning wee. Thankfully just injured my dignity and only the dogs witnessed my face plant.
Waking up now with good coffee I brought with me.
Wish us luck today.

We had overnight rain from what started as a snow storm in Colorado.
Not much to report today, especially since I have a cat on my lap who does not like me typing. I think that today is mostly going to be inside projects as it is wet outside.

High drug prices can be bad. DS has some very $$$ meds for his liver transplant; let his insurance lapse once and after serious mess was able to get free meds for I think a year under some program the drugmaker had.
My phone had a message for me this morning that I can't use it unless I agree to new terms. In curiosity, I asked it to email me the terms. Two emails, one is 23 pages the other 29. What nonsense--who's going to read all that?
We are having the driest fall since 1916. Forecast is rain tomorrow night and Monday morning.

Have the grandkids coming over for the morning, then dropping them off for a sleepover at a friend's house.
Bought a new laptop for DW last month and now it won't run on battery. I hate when technology fails us.

These companies know we are at their mercy as attorneys draft agreements and then put on phones with print so small most cannot read. If we as a society band together I believe we could stop some of this but I also understand companies are trying to protect themselves from so many coming after them. Some folks are so sue happy.
We finally got about 3/4 inch of rain first since September 29th.

Good luck to Captain Face Plant and the the girls today!
It seems I never checked in yesterday. We are starting a long stretch of rain for the week, so yesterday we headed into Florence to check our mail and touch some sand and ocean. We headed up to the beach right below the lighthouse. We started to explore the creek that runs through there but didn't have the right foot gear on or trekking poles. Otherwise I likely would have joined Lee in taking an unplanned trip to the ground. I could have used Mike and his magic canoe. Explored a bit more up the coast and headed home. I forgot it gets dark early now. The winding drive home on 126 was increasingly exciting at 4:45pm. I can't believe how many cars with one working headlamps we saw, 4-5 in the hour fifteen minute drive home. Another weekend of open houses for our townhome. We talked about the selling price to make sure we are still on the same page in case an offer materializes and the one house we both liked a lot but are worried about it being smaller. Not much planned today beyond straightening up.0
