Mornin' BBB
Thank you for your service and those in your family that served. So proud of DS#1. As a former National Guardsman, I feel like I only dipped my toe in. This weekend, I rubbed elbows with several who served in Vietnam and one that was awarded a Purple Heart and the Silver Star. Humbling for sure.
Still basking in the glow of making a placement with #BAL. I got lots of compliments on her.
Sad that we are not going to either National, we qualified for both, but the trip to Colorado is much more important and I could either do Colorado or the Nationals.

Good morning
I miss my dh. I take dsil for her post op doc appt at 1030a. Hope she is cleared to live alone soon. It's more about her taking care of her crazy dogs, than herself. I want my dh back lol. My dh wants to be back.
Kelly hope all is well!
Skip hope Thur is a great success and you feel better and headaches are gone!
Welcome back Lou
Lee, dgs sure is getting big, lots of blond hair! Cute kid! He'll be thrilled to have some Grampa time!
Be well BBB!

Good morning BBB friends.
Salute to all my fellow veterans - and National Guard counts, Lee.
Seahawks didn't lose - they had a bye, too. Bo Nix played well (former Duck) but brilliant special team formation robbed Denver of the chance to win in KC. Justin Herbert continued excellence (former Duck) as Chargers won.
I didn't watch any of it. I had a date with the leaves piled on our lawn. Running the mower over them, then hauling the chopped-up results to the back where Rita uses them for mulch and compost takes more time and effort than mowing the grass. This was my third leaf day. There will probably be one more, as there are plenty still on the trees.0 -
Morning gang
Thanks to all who served.
We took a late afternoon hike and tried out a new trail. It was a gorgeous hike through a mountain valley. No maping app does a great job here so I was just guessing it was a loop based on consulting multiple maps. We planned to turn around after 1.5 hours if it didn't look like a loop but the way back would have been a steep uphill on loose gravel for at least .25 mile which I wasn't looking forward too.
Thankfully we popped out right where I thought we would and were back in the car with daylight to spare.
Today is spanish lessons, gym and massages.0 -

Happy Veterans Day BBB.
- I got up way too early to cook breakfast for the Methodist Men. We also had a Veteran recognition event.
- Back to the 'hood and play photographer for our Veterans Day ceremony. I host the color guard from the local Jr. ROTC unit.
- Our program highlighted a 101 year old Vet who stormed Omaha Beach and was at the Battle of the Bulge. He is still going strong. He wrote a book, "A Patriots Memories of WWII"
- Came home and took a nap.
- I hope you made it home without incident Lou.

Good evening, folks.
Thanks to our BBB'ers who served our nation.
I was surprised as anyone when Austin - the hippy dippy town that it is - had a parade on Congress Ave today.
