Up since 4:05... Still dark here at 6:10. It's what happens when I don't get out for a walk during the day.

Looks like sometime the week of Dec 9-13 will be piano D-Day here. I have an echocardiogram the 10th, so maybe after that-- make sure the heart is working okay. I'll probably rent a small moving truck. Hoping we don't get a 3 day nor'easter or ice storm. Tomorrow DS helping me set up equipment to ensure it makes sense and I haven't forgotten something crucial. I now have spreadsheets with force vectors and clearance angles calculated, and a 2-page Word document of step by step instructions for loading and unloading and winching up the ramp. Family would have me locked up...

Today RAV4 gets an oil change and 120,000 mile first sparkplug change. I used to do it once a year on my '72 Pontiac Ventura.

Rain today and again Thursday. Had a couple inches the other day, after months of dry weather, much needed.

Steve, glad neighbor finally woke up. I find lots of oblivious dog owners think everything their dog does is wonderful as long as it doesn't bite anyone.

Dave hope you had a good hike.

Everyone have a good day. Still recovering from early thanksgiving family dinner...

    Mornin' gents.

The Egyptians have nothing on you, Mike. Where there is a will, there is a way.
Meant to wish Collin well on his new job. How is the dizziness today?

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good morning!

Collin is working from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am, so I have not gotten to talk with him. Connie got up at 3:00 when he got home and she talked with him a bit. I asked how it went when she came back to bed. She said he did well. Whew!

I am feeling better now. I do have allergies going on (leaf mold), and I have not been taking anything for the allergies.

Connie is having lunch with a teacher friend today. I will likely spend my free bachelor time dusting and vacuuming the house. Sigh....

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

No hike yesterday, Mike. I was talking about plans for today or Wednesday. Looks like Wednesday is my option. Rita has plans for me this afternoon.

I took the CRV to the body shop to get an estimate, yesterday. They remembered me from last summer. I laughed that no one wants to be a "regular" at a body shop. Repairs are scheduled for next week. I'll be driving the Tacoma until they are through.

Finished the leftover potatoes and corn pudding last night. Still have some high-calorie stuffing and gravy left. Haven't yet stepped on a scale to assess the damage.

    Good Morning

Heather made it home safe and sound last night. We are off bright and early to meet our RE Agent over in Florence to look at 3 houses and hopefully get on the same page house wise. I think after we done we will head over to the coffee place in Old Town with my laptop and talk through options while we sip on hot beverages. Nice weather all week. I look forward to getting out for some nice walks.

Yeah back in the day we used to change out spark plugs and gap them ourselves annually. adjust distributor points too. One time my car was faultering after I had it tuned and I stopped at a bar parking lot and opened the hood and pulled off the cap . The guy who tuned it forgot to put the retainer atop the rotor. I went inside and sidled up to an inebriated lady (New Year's Eve) and said "I don't suppose you have a bobby pin I could borrow?" I went on to explain that I needed one to put atop the rotor and she muddled saying "ya I do that myself" Riiiiiiiiight. I broke a bit off the end and put it atop the rotor and everything worked fine. Made it to my party.
