    Good morning!

Frankie woke me a little early this morning. I was also awakened by Collin who gets home from work at 3:00 a.m. I don't know how day 2 at work went yet.

Connie, Collin and I will have a turkey meal together tomorrow. No large family gatherings anymore.

Bob, that was a good story with the rotor. I still get to do some of that with my 1971 Chevy C-10.

Rain in Kansas today. I was awakened in part too with arthritis pain.

    Have a great day!

    Mornin' gents.

Hmm, what happened to Hump Day?
Let dogs out at 5:10 and went back to bed until 6:20. Could have slept in longer but M was revving up the vacuum cleaner.
I miss the good old days you could tinker with your car/truck's tune. There is a meme on FB about how no one is going to want to renovate a Tesla in 20-30 years. So very true.
I moved a heavy package from Overstock last night when I came home. This morning I am aching like I did leg day at the gym. The package is a grill gazebo so I can continue to use the grill in inclement weather.
Tomorrow is dinner with DS#2 at a Manhattan restaurant. One good thing for me about a restaurant Thanksgiving dinner, is that there are no left overs.
The scale finally moved for me 1/2 a pound after 4 weeks of no change.

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

I chuckled at the Thursday title, too.

I finished up the leftovers from our early Thanksgiving last night. There is still some gravy, and the turkey carcass for soup. I stepped on the scale last night, though, and was surprised to see I hadn't gained at all. Not losing but staying the same after a week of overindulgence and no tracking puzzles me - but I'll take it.

I am going on a hike today. Don't need to start early, though. The road is rough, and I need light to see the deep potholes, so I can't head out until just before dawn. Three days ago, NOAA was forecasting snow for the trail area. Now they say sunny. I'm kind of disappointed at the shift.

MFP wouldn’t let me sign in via the website and had to use app on phone.

    Mornin’ gents.

Took DD out to Longhorn Steakhouse last night for her birthday. Had steak tips with mushrooms and onions, & asparagus and salad. Brought home half of it, delicious.

Thick frost this morning. Rain again tomorrow. We’re almost at normal rainfall for November after months of severe drought. Local AMC holds its last river trip in early December; should be enough water now.

Glad Collin is doing okay so far in the job. Bob, bobby-pin in the distributor story is a good one.

Have a great and grateful Thanksgiving tomorrow.

Still managing to hold off on the between meal bingeing.

    Onward and downward.

Yeah some advantage to old mechanical auto set-ups. We drove "old" Russian vans in the Gobi Desert that had distributors, points etc. Easy to fix when they broke down.

Off to Seattle by train and likely wont log back in. T-day w DS and DDIL

    Good Morning,
I also miss times when I knew enough to repair own vehicle, would not try now with so many computers and tech I could do more damage than good.
    Enjoy DS and DDIL Bob.
    Bill, Happy house hunting
Steve, small get together means less work and more relaxation.
Lee, not as young as you once were; as neighbor to help move heavy items; critters need you.
Mike, where are you going to put piano; the way you described your condo it was tight?

    Good Morning

Lee, I imagine we have all risen to the challenge of moving large or heavy items only to discover that we are not quite as young and durable as we once were. I hope you heal quickly.

We had a good day yesterday in Florence seeing 3 houses. It was a beautiful day and it was good to be out and about. We put an offer in last night on one after Heather and I talked through the list and I let go of my desire for a covered porch or patio. Hopefully all we be wrapped up today. I was also told by my other realtor that the bank in California is proposing that we close 8-9 days early since everything is in good shape. We have limited cooking and meal prep capabilities here so we ordered a dinner package from Whole Foods which I am picking up this afternoon. Tomorrow is largely heating things up. My son in California is not able to come so we will be making Turkey Pot Pie, Turkey Sandwiches, Turkey soup etc for a while.
