Bought new scales yesterday and I hate them already. This morning I weighed in at 259 which is 4 pounds heavier than the last time I weighed myself.

    I don't understand scales and weights!!! How could I possibly lose 6 pounds in one day. Not possible. Same scales although different time of the day. I hope my new scales are not messed up. But ---anyway----I was delighted to weigh in at 252.5 this morning!

    The mystery of the scales continues. Today's weigh in is 254.

    I decided to make this a Friday thing so that every Friday I log in my weight, my blood sugar and my BP.

    Today's weigh in is 252.5. I did NOT go to the clinic for BP and glucose check but I will start that next week.

    Starting weight 11/29 - 259 lbs.

    I was traveling on Friday so only got around to weighing myself today. Only half a pound was lost but it's better than a gain. I STILL have not gone to the clinic for BP and glucose check but am thinking of doing that tomorrow.

    Starting weight 11/29 - 259 lbs.
    12/15 - 254 lbs.
    12/15 - 252 lbs

    I managed to get my BP and sugar checked on Dec 20 (my birthday). BP - 139/77 (a bit high but MUCH better than 147/78 which is what I had a year ago).
    Fasting sugar - 5.6 (much better than last year which was 6.4)

    I missed my weigh on day on Friday (Dec 27) so I did it today and was pleasantly surprised to weight in at 247.7 which is a 2.3 lbs loss in 8 days. My ideal weight loss goal is 2 pounds a week so I am very happy!

    Starting weight 11/29 - 259 lbs.
    Weight Today: 12/28 - 247.7 lbs.
    Weight Loss as of 12/28 - 11.3lbs

    I said that my goal is to lose 1 pound per week and I reached that goal -- 1 pound lost. But it was hard work and I kind of feel disappointed that it wasn't more! Maybe I can get down to 243 next week -- maybe!

    The 1 pound goal has been met. I should be happy but I am still a little disappointed because I was actually hoping to have lost 2 pounds. My scale seems to be stuck at 244! Although my goal is to lose a minimum of 1 pound by next week I am still hoping to be 242 next week.

    Yay! My goal to reach 242 by today has been accomplished. I am so happy! I have tried so hard this week even though I did not get in as much exercise as I wanted I still managed to control my eating urges. My goal for next week is to get to 240!

    one more pound down. I guess I have to celebrate this gradual (very gradual) weight loss. I was SO hoping to lose a consistent 2 pounds per week but 1 pound per week seems to be more realistic for me. I just have to keep pushing a long. But—-after all that has been said —- I am still hoping to weigh in at 234 next week.

    Is it salt? water weight??? I don;t know but somehow I gained 4 pounds. I deserve it though. I have not been tracking my food and I have been eating junk. Erg. My goal is to get back to 236 on 03/28 and get back on track!

    I am flip flopping between 234 and 237. I need to focus more on eating right. I have been staying away from alcohol which I think is a major game changer for me and I have been focusing on as much pickleball as I can but I pretty much gave up on the gym.
