Self care is very important. So excited to bring this into my own life.
I'm thinking what will I add to my wheel? I'm going to first sit down and free write it out, then read it over, and see what it is I truly want as my priority.
Enjoy picking the healthy habit you'll focus on for the 8 weeks.1 -
great idea, this way it will truly be an individual challenge where we can grow1

@DrewsAnna Hello! Welcome back to the 5%! I am so happy to see that you have joined us again! The link is to a site outside of MFP. When you click the blue Self-Care Wheel, a new page opens that looks like this

The healthy habit I need to focus on is getting on the Jiu Jitsu mats at least twice a week. When I'm in routine I'll easily do that and more but my routine hasn't been good for too long now and I'm in the habit of skipping training. I consider this to be a Keystone habit for me, when I get this right, the other healthy habits come easier. It's summer holidays here (but I work through them) so many of my normal commitments are on break, giving me plenty of time to focus on getting on the mats and building my fitness back up.1

The wheel is a good idea and I am going to incorporate my self care ideas to the wheel.1

Am I deducing correctly from HH1 and HH2 that we are to choose TWO healthy habits to focus on?0
-
@NancyAnne52 The 8-week focus is optional, but you get points for your team if you do it. You choose one Healthy Habit to focus on daily for the entire 8 weeks of the challenge, preferably something you struggle with. That habit will not change, it is in addition to the two weekly habits that are requirements for all the teams.1
-
I think I'll switch my personal healthy habit to daily yoga (even 5 minutes counts). I do need to get on the mats regularly but that is hard to score daily and yoga helps me to not get injured when I'm training so I want to get back into the routine of doing a short session every day. 10 minutes daily with occasional long sessions are best but even 5 minutes is possible on busy days.1

Read. New to the challenges and looking forward to participating.1

My healthy habit is going to make sure I complete my food journal every day. I was doing well until Halloween and then it has been hit or miss. I find that helps me lose weight more than oh, I think I still have calories left to eat this snack.0
