Good Sunday morning BBB friends.
. I stayed up way too late watching the Dawgs win in OT. Then for some obscure reason I watched the 1st half of the Oregon game.
. We are currently 5 hours ahead of EST.
. I had to beg the waiter to find me my usual egg mcmuffin. They were already serving lunch.

Good Morning,
Water heater went out yesterday and could not get a plumber, so DS and I got water heater and started installing. Our Lowe's does not carry gas heaters so had to go to Athens to pick one up. No help in Athens other than point as to where heaters were in back of store. After getting home taking old heater out, 19 years old, nothing fits new heater. 5 trips to Lowe's in town as they were closing, we got enough pieces to jerry rig heater where we have hot water this morning. I've gotten too old for this.
Would more than likely skip church this morning but I had agreed to lead Sunday school class so it's off I go.
Younger folks in neighborhood decided to take down American flay from pole and install Christmas lights. Some older folks very upset, called yesterday wanting me to meet them to have a large force to force taking lights down. My suggestion is put flag back up and string lights just under flag out to edge of landscaping. Old farts were so bull headed would not yield, tension in neighborhood.

Im Up at 530a and now heading out for groceries. Then I will finish my porch railing planters and call it all done decorating. High was 50F yesterday, today and tomorrow more of same...
I am so disappointed in my new glasses. Nose piece hurts bridge of my nose. It's too narrow and doesn't sit correctly. Why did I not notice this !! I am going to return them today uugghh. My new sunglasses are fine. $700+ paid for both pairs. I need a do over! I have 100 days to return them, but for credit. Hope I can find a replacement...

Morning BBB
Ron foot is still aching today so I foresee a day of video games and trip planning. OK by me. He doesn't think it's gout as it's deep in his foot and not in the toe joint like usual. I'm guessing too many days walking barefoot on tile floors and too much weight on heel raises at the gym on Thursday. He has a massage tomorrow.
I made a big pot of chili yesterday and going to roast some sweet potatoes for lunch today.0
