Rise and shine...
Rain this morning and all day into night forecasted, after rain Monday and snow last week, flood watch in effect. Hard to believe after months of no rain at all and not enough water to paddle local rivers.
Funny, how looming piano move has forced me into doing decluttering I've put off for a long time. Got a good start yesterday, tossed two baskets of old paperwork. And in the cleaning found a lot of things I had forgotten about that should be kept. I have poems and short stories never published, as well as plans for inventions that never got done...
Piano move is still in limbo, pending DSIL figuring out when he can and DGS's can help. Looks like Friday or Saturday now.
Will get echo results in a few days. Have gone off the rails with diet a little; hungry between meals a lot. And haven't walked much with rain and icy roads.

Mornin' gents.
Christmas goodies always get me. I fixed myself a big egg breakfast yesterday so I would stay away from cookies dropped off by clients. The plan went well until midday...I split a peanut butter ball with one of my techs. My only indiscretion.
Hope echo results are good. Seems like you have been feeling pretty good as of late.
Today getting photo taken with Dr Alexa Every for clients. I also need to write some introductory statement. I am still trying to wrap my head around not being there in a year's time.
Saddened by the gen X support of the CEO shooter. At least 3 of my staff at the clinic claim that he is their hero. Cold blooded murder is not the answer.

Good morning!
My ribs seem to be starting to feel better. I can do a few more things now. I'm still taking it slowly.
I love peanut butter balls. The victory for me would not be splitting one, but rather cutting down to about three.
We had a very light dusting of snow this morning.
Have a great day!0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Last dry day before cold rain returns tomorrow. Rita has plans for a number of errands, so my day will be full.
Glad the ribs are feeling better, Steve.
I don't know what a peanut butter ball is, so my temptation level would be low. I was up almost four pounds over the weekend. Every time the grandkids stay over this happens - pancake breakfasts, mac and cheese suppers, etc.
When I retired, I adjusted very quickly, but Rita had trouble. It's been 14 years, and she still complains that I get in her way.0 -
Good Morning,
Yesterday was very tiring, as tomorrow will also be, surgeon wants DW to have chemo and/or radiation before surgery; they are trying to decide which would be more effective. Scan in morning and bone testing in afternoon, Next Thursday will be liver scan, Friday 20th will be MRI's and meeting with oncologist again wants to start treatment before Christmas.
Put Pablo in doggie day care yesterday, he was totally worn-out last night. Will do same tomorrow.
Raining this morning as it stops cold wind coming in dropped 6 degrees while walking Pablo. Already 11 degrees cooler than when I got up this morning.
Glad ribs beginning to heal.
Hope you get piano moved this weekend, Mike.
I've only been retired 6 years, but DW believes I'm in her way at times.
Depending on client and baking abilities believe I would have a hard time staying away from sweets dropped off.0 -
Good grief Lee I am with you RE CEO shooter. Fortunately I don't know of anybody that is making excuses for the horrible action.
Looked up peanut butter ball OMG decadent indeed!
Gosh Dave 14 years and still get in Rita's way. Longer than that for us especially in the kitchen. Had to LOL at that one.
Oh Sam lots of Ts and Ps coming to you and your DW with all that upcoming stuff. My DD went thru all of that and is just fine today but it took awhile.
Hang in there Bill. I have stopped in Coburg a couple of times over the yeas going to Eugene. Don't know if I ever had the privilege of having Pizza there . What is the the name of the place? I am guessing "COBURG PIZZA COMPANY". sounds like a wonderful place. I'll have to ask my DD about it too.

Good Morning
While I agree insurance companies are moral abysses, cold blooded, premeditated murder will never be worth of praise of hero worship. It shows what level our country is sinking into.
We had a nice few hours in Florence yesterday to get our mail and to walk about town enjoying the city's tree and lights. Alas, our Christmas wreath did not arrive. We will go back on Thursday. House stuff is sailing along now. Proceeds received and most of excess is now with Chas Schwaab. Seller of the house here agreed to the 3 repair items we asked for on the inspection report and have them schedule to be done. Insurance quote is in hand for my review. Heather wants to delay the furniture delivery until after my son leaves, in case he does come for Christmas. It gives us something to talk about. Sam I am praying for your DW as she goes through this new cancer journey. What is her name?0
