    • Have a safe journey cross country, Doc! Can't wait to hear your reports from Monument and the Springs!
    • Lou - hope you had an uneventful flight to Austin.
    • Grenadier "was done" - yet, I had to catch an Uber ride home. #NOTHAPPY! Lightbar brackets looked like they were fabricated by HS shop kids; exposed wiring; and some whistling noise (presumably from bracket). Needless to say, its still in shop! Ugh.
    • 6 days until the beach!
    • Dennis - how's Dachsund negotiations coming?

    Good morning.

Trip home was as uneventful as it can be when DCA does a 30 minute ground stop for no reason and you're forced to hike two terminals over in Houston when your plane is already boarding...

So the vet records say that Ricey is only 2 instead of 3. When we took him for the meet and greet with the new vet last weekend, she confirmed it based on the baby teeth still present. This jives with his attitude the past few days as he's kinda being a jerk on his walks. Welcome to the Terrible Twos, I guess.

Still haven't received the estimate for the nut-lopping, teeth extraction, and chipping. Probably deciding what kind of boat they want to buy first.

    Good morning BBB friends.

I remember well all the misadventures of travel, from my working days. A big reason I stay near home in retirement. If I can't drive there in a day, I don't want to go.

DS and family just adopted a kitten from a shelter. The "free" kitten cost $800.

Waiting for a repair guy to come to the house this morning to reattach loose upholstery on my new Lazy Boy. My old recliner lasted 22 years. The new one, which cost twice as much, is falling apart after three months. At least it is under warrantee.

    Good Morning,
Foggy day in Georgia, rain expected about 6 as front comes through providing us much cooler temps.
Many consumer goods do not hold up as they once did yet cost much more.
Safe travels Lee, take time and enjoy road trip with girls.
    Hope all is good Dennis.
Will be in Athens Thursday and Friday.
Got all fruit baskets delivered to widows yesterday.
Aldi trip yesterday was a bust, many shelves were bare but got all fruit baskets delivered to widows yesterday.

    Morning gang

My Dr appointment went well. He said my cholesterol was high but not so high to warrant drugs. He was happy with my small weight loss and suggested much more and then to retest cholesterol. I'm happy...I didn't want the hassle of a Rx while traveling. He also said my proteins were low...I was tested before we added chicken and eggs back to diet but now aiming for 100g/day....going to try to eat edammame as my primary snack too. Overall a good visit.

    Today is Ron's appointment.

We try hard not to have super early or super late flights. Even if they cost more. When we fly from peru to Chile we don't have an option...only flight lands at 10pm. However there is a holiday inn on airport property that I will book.
