This week will likely be stressful (positive or negative) and you may have a house filled with relatives, friends, even some strangers...so the challenge for this week is for your physical AND mental health. Simple really...how will you WORK IT OUT when things get hectic, when you need to get rid of some extra calories...when you desperately need a little quiet time. Can be a combination of things, but...let's list our daily plans for exercise and a little mental balancing...

Looking forward to your discussions of the week...pictures of your celebrations or fun with the pets are ALWAYS welcome! Make your plan and then be diligent with getting it done. We're heading into the new year and we want to close the old year out right!! Let's get moving!!

See you in the chat thread!!

Me and Rich at the light show at the farm in Eliot Maine. Fun night. Rich's sister Cathy and her DH are in the back seat of the sleigh.

Today I did 2.5 miles on the treadmill at the hotel we stayed at. Now we are on the way to my cousin's house for a Christmas party. It is 20F degrees which is the high for today. My NC blood is not liking this cold weather! 🥶

It's 22f degrees with the feel like temp to be 12f degrees here in Pennsylvania where I am. Staying in where it's warm. I got my hoop, steps, and squats in today.

I’m still having some pain so not much walking today. Plan to do my strength exercises and finish some cleaning and laundry. That’s it for me today.

Started off the Christmas week with a 10km Sunday hike with a 330m elevation! Gorgeous views, but my glutes are telling me ALL about it today!

Am trying to ease back into walking and short light jogging after being in a boot for nearly 10 weeks for bad tendinitis issues in my left ankle and suffering from PTTD (ankle related). Some permanent damage and not sure how much I’ll be able to fully walk or run in the future.
That being said, I did a 14 minute session of walk 4 minutes, jog 1 minute, walk 4 minutes, jog 1 minute, walk 4 minutes. Then I did am additional walk for 14 minutes. Iced my ankle for 15 minutes after that.
In those 10 weeks I was in a boot I basically gained 10 pounds. I now need to transition into walking and jogging enough to work that weight back off.

I need to lose a lot of weight to take the stress off of my ankle.

Still having lots of aches in my left leg, although a lot less swelling. Weight is steadily coming down, so hoping I'll hit that sweet spot soon when it stops. Grateful to know it's NOT any sort of blockage or blood clot...

All I'm doing each day is trying to walk a little indoors, clean and do things around the house, do some cooking and then some strength exercises for my arms and shoulders. That's it for me...

Don't just do diddly squats, walk around the block a few times! 😂
