And that's goal for @KariD1114! At least I think it is. Your ticker says your goal is 95 but we have you down for 60 miles this month. Just let me know if we need to change anything.0 -

And that's goal for me!1 -
Had my follow up today and it was an eye opener as to how bad my shoulder really was and that I was very fortunate to have a friend guide to her surgeon. A number of years ago, I fell during a training run, when I was running with the sun in my eyes, and caught the edge of weird storm drain. I landed straight armed on my right arm and knew I did something to my bicep. I read that if it was not a full tear, it would heal on its own. . Well it did, but for that year, I was unable to throw a ball with much force or really teach my students how to properly throw without pain.
Well, today, I asked the gal taking out my sutures if the incision in my upper inner arm was a shaver site where they clean out the area and she said it was from my bicep repair and I said I did not have a bicep tear. When I asked my doctor, he told me that he repaired my bicep tendon because it was eroding. It took me awhile to remember when I had injured my bicep, but he said he scoped further down while de-bridging my joint and found it. So he fixed it. My MRI never showed it. When I read his post op notes on all he did, I probably would have been looking at a shoulder replacement in a few years rather than repair. I am just blessed to find a doctor in. my area then does any where up to 200 surgeries a year and is sent cases that other doctors know they cannot do. Back in four weeks and then I will be starting PT.
