    Good morning BBB friends.

    I forgot all about the Orange Bowl until I was driving to choir practice and the game was on the radio. Game was over by the time we finished practice. Glad ND won, I guess. We used to live in Indiana and a friend is a ND alum.

    Hope all medical procedures go well today - and the drive home isn't an icy one.

    I talked DW into going to a movie this afternoon. We'll see Gladiator II. I like weekday matinees. You often get the theater almost to yourself and don't have to drive home in the dark.

    Best wish to all with procedures today.

    It's not raining and windy for the first morning since we arrived in CR. Heading to La Fortuna for a sloth hike with tortilla making lesson after. Forecasted to rain this afternoon but hopefully not before we are on the way home. It's 1.5 hour drive.

    Procedure done, no major concerns. Made it home safely on some very slick roads. Glad we didn't have to go far.

    Looks like the weather down south is nasty. Putting our weather here in perspective... given southern Cali fires devastations. So sad!

    Glad tests procedures road trips etc are going well so far today!!!

    SW ds1 early this a.m from the Dallas airport upon his arrival there. Awaiting for his incoming friends to go check in at the Ritz, comp rooms. Must be nice. He hangs with a good network. Glad he can take some due time off and get to this OSU Buckeye game. Go bucks! Says he'll back back home by noon tomorrow,

    We got no plans this weekend.

    The scale is being kind to me today. I need to be xtra mindful now that we are a week after holidays over. It's working.... I have weighed less than I do today since 2017. Wow.
