Rise and shine. My normal spritely glow has faded today, due to being up since 3:30. Ughhh. Time to make getting out for long walks a #1 daily priority.

Eldest DD, her DD and BF are doing a polar plunge on a Cape Cod beach today. Wants me to come join them. That water's too cold for me in mid-summer. Nice to be young and crazy.

Rutland firefighter lost his wife and twin premies after wife had a health crisis. I happened to be driving by the funeral home last week when there was a procession of hundreds of firefighters in dress uniform outside. Townspeople are raising money.

14º, feels like 1º. Nice day for a walk outside, not.

    Have a good day.

    Onward and downward.

    Good morning!

Mike, we are at 12 degrees here. I too have wanted to start hiking and walking, but between the weather and my rib, that won't happen until later into the Spring.

I get my dental crown today.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Same old same old, here: Low 30s heading to low 40s, if the sun burns through. Otherwise, it will stay in the 30s all day. Rita, Sassy and I have walked almost every day in 2025. It's helped by the unusually dry weather. No rain in the forecast for the next 12 days.

No shop time yesterday. Instead, I did yard work. I got rid of the Sweetgum leaves all over our front yard. We don't have a Sweetgum tree, but our neighbor does, and the prevailing winds bring many of his un-raked leaves to us. It was nice to get outside to work in the fresh air.

    Good Morning

Beautiful days here with clear skies. Rather cold mornings will give way to upper 40's, low 50's. We hit 60 yesterday for a bit. We have to run an errand so we will be out for a walk. Either the beach or explore a trail to a lake nearby. We had fun attending the Bogart film yesterday after the cleaning frenzy at the AirBnB. Next week we get the Maltese Falcon. We spent a fortune stocking the fridge/freezer for the first time and other supplies afterward as we settle into normal life and regular meals. It is good to cook again. Tonight is Oven Roasted Chicken Shawarma in Pita with yogurt sauce. Perhaps I will try some baking next week.
