    Good morning!

It is supposed to get to into the upper 40s today. I hope a lot of snow melts. It is so hard for me to walk on. After today, we go back into a deep freeze for about a week. Anything left on the ground after today will stay there for a while.

We have a GFCI circuit that went out yesterday in the master bath. There was a time when I would have dug in and fixed it myself. We have an electrician coming out this morning. It is an outlet that they put in, so it may be a warranty repair. It is keeping Connie's bathroom in the dark right now.

    Have a great day!

    Mornin' gents.

Deep freeze coming our way too. Ugh. There was a time I would welcome all that winter could throw at me.
    Happy belated Birthday Joanne!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Gratifying time in the shop, yesterday. Made a large pile of walnut shavings resulting in a 13-inch blank to core out, along with several other pieces to turn later. I can actually see the end of my stash of walnut, then I'll move on to the rest of the madrone and my endless pile of cherry. It's a creative compulsion.

Rita has a follow-up appointment at the hospital today, to talk about her hearing tests. Then DGS has his third-grade concert at his school this evening.

    Good Morning

Belated Birthday greetings to Joanne! Prayers continue for her complete recovery.

Visited the transfer station yesterday to declutter. Its really quite nice, as long as you don't go on trash Wednesday. Returned to drop off cardboard so there is room to move around the house again. With the Pod gone we have better use of our driveway so today my son and I will carry various patio furniture to the shed in the back for storage until I can rehab it. Then we will reorganize the garage a bit so we can start collecting some furniture that will not work in the house and have Habitat for Humanity come pick it up. We will drop off moving blankets. We have decided to take it slow and not overdo it so we keep making progress. Bathroom window being repaired today as a condition of the purchase of the house. The dual pane seal had failed which creates a little greenhouse in there over time. Beautiful weather lately but the wind really came up at the ocean front and chased us back to the car. We were a layer or two short to withstand it. Today we are exploring a nearby trailhead to a large park. Now that we are back eating normal meals at normal times in the house, I have started tracking again. I found it hard to maintain in chaotic meal times and meals. I need to put the scale somewhere and get a baseline.

Glad that Joanne has some respite from the chemo. Our weather has just remained the same stuck in the 30s from lo 30s to upper 30s for several days in a row. No frost again this a.m.

DDs B-day tonight so will take her out to dinner.
Need to get back at it and lose a couple of pounds for starters
    Cheers
