Mornin' BBB
Brutal cold snap after light snow. It was -2º when I let the dogs out, it is a balmy 2º now that the sun is up.
I wish I was in Costa Rica right now.

Good morning BBB friends.
Congratulations to our Buckeye fan.
Heading down to Salem in the Tacoma, to visit the old family home one last time before it goes on the market, and to meet with a banker about the trust that holds mom's estate. Once the house is sold, we have to pay the estate taxes, then divide everything up three ways. There are a bunch of stocks and bonds that provided most of mom's income.
At least our weather is nice for the trip. Mid-20s this morning and heading for sunny 40s this afternoon.0 -
Bittersweet day Dave
It's 82 now on the way to 86. Showers this afternoon expected. I have no tours or anything planned this week other than a lunch date with some other traveller's on Thursday. Will probably book a guide and visit Manuel Antonio national park. And I also found a reasonably price massage for Ron at a beach town about 45 minutes away. Next to a brewery so will probably schedule that for Friday and make a day of it.
The grocery store we popped into that is nearby was less than great so need to find a few supplies. But we are only in CR for 7 more days so don't need much.

- Watching the Weather Channel and it appears Houston is getting hammered. Houston?!? We are supposed to get ~1" of snow later today.
- Costa Rica does sound nice.
- Pulling for our GA boy Doug Collins getting the VA Chief job. Pleasantly surprised to see Marco Rubio confirmed as Secretary of State 99-0.

Cold, but Pablo has been out and around block.
Joanne has an appointment in Athens at 1:30 today, and none tomorrow.
Chance of a dusting of snow late afternoon.
In the real Buckhead where we lived before moving here yesterday 3 7th graders were out on an ATV afternoon ran into trailer, killed two third air flighted out.
Hope Skip feels better soon, they claim there are more flu cases this year than last few years.

I see GA is under a state of emergency for weather? Be safe, stay home if you can.
All schools closed here due to extreme cold.
My Pensacola hq office is closed. They say the entire town is closed for the 3inches of snow they have.
Ddil's car battery decided this -20 windchill factor is too cold and battery is toast. So I came over so she could use my car. I'm hanging out with Maddie dog, while she takes gds for his 18mo doctor check up.
In other news, one of the 2 crazy little dogs of my dsil's has, attacked the other little dog for the 4th time. The dog is not at fault in imo. She hasn't trained these two dogs, at all. Spoils them rotten, talks to them like they are babies. Now she is returning the aggressor dog to the rescue she got it from, over a year ago. Sighhhh. If she goes out and gets another second dog after this, I'm going to be upset.
Ds1 said the game last night "was great"!!! Glad he is back home with no flight delays this morning out of Atlanta.
