Morning gang
Had a pleasant walk around the nearby town then drove south to a beach town. It's cute but happy we have a condo in the country. Going back there today as Ron booked a massage. I'll browse the shops and have a cup of coffee. There is also a delightful grocery store there so I get anything else we need for the week.

Good morning BBB friends.
Kind of cathartic to visit the empty house in Salem. It doesn't feel much like home anymore. It's just a house. Had a chat with the account manager for the trust, too. Nothing much to do there, for now. We did move some funds from one type of account to another, where it will accrue better interest.
Weather still good, here: cool but dry. Sorry for all the cold and snow many of you are going through. Then there is Steph and Ron...0 -

Took a second day of S/L - and think I coughed hard enough to pull something! Ribs hurt bad! Ugh. Whatever I picked up, it got a firm hold on me for sure!
Admin moving swiftly. Hiring freeze in place. I wish they'd consider an early buyout for old farts like me. That will rightsize numbers quick!
Still freezing cold here.
11a telehealth w/ VA for C&P exam. Fingers crossed.

Austin shut down for no good reason yesterday, so I had to work from home. My coworker was kind of a jerk.

-1 here on my car this morning. Schools are on another 2 hour delay because of the temperatures.
I broke a rib once coughing with a bad cold. No joke.
Crazy, how so many places are getting snow. I know that you, Lou, know how to drive in the snow, but I'm sure that many of the texans, do not!
I have my first Telehealth appointment today. Never done that. ha.

DMIL continues to show her posterior, refusing to eat and take her medicine. All doctor offices and urgent cares are closed, hospital says they have over a twelve hour wait. If doctor opens tomorrow will take DMIL in, DW has an appointment with GP and since she is seeing so many specialists believe she is fine and will let DMIL take DW's appointment. Plus DW's blood is being run weekly.
Snow and ice melting fast this afternoon.
Skip, hope you are feeling better soon.

Dave, I remember that feeling leaving my mother's house and my grandmothers house for the last times. It's hard, yet relief that its done.
Heat wave here 20F. Finally ! Little dusting of snow here this evening too. Half inch tops.
Pensacola sent me photos of their 8inches. Everything is closed.
Hope dmil is ok Sam. And Joanne too. Not what she needs right now.
I do telehealth appts with my weight loss endocrinologist team. I have to weigh in and show them scale.. it's good accountability. Beats parking at hospital and all that, too. I need fasting labs prior to my appt the 28th.
We're watching the DVD movie News Years Eve. A lot of big names in it. Good so far.
