    Morning BBB

    I don't even know what time zone I'm in compared to everyone else. I think maybe we are pacific time here.

    The food tour we did yesterday was fun. We went to a marketed we would never have ventured to. It was what you would expect with lots of fruits and vegetables, fresh meat and fish and tiny restaurants. Our favorite was the papa rellena which is kinda like a spicy runza with potatoes instead of dough.

    We stayed after the tour and continued to walk around the market and tried to find another but got list in the maze of shops. We walked home which was probably 3 miles or so. Weather here is lovely. Mostly cloudy and 75 with a nice sea breeze.

    Today likely will just walk around our neighborhood more. Looking for massage, pedicure, haircuts and somewhere closer to buy water. Plus I need an eyeliner and a replacement jacket. The Inka market is nearby...maybe I'll find an alpaca jacket...not really what I have room for but at least it would be pretty. Mostly I just need warm for the Antarctica park of the cruise.

    It is a late start to the day when the West Coast checks in this high in the group.

    Pouring rain all day, today. A good day to stay indoors. Rita and I have been binging Downton Abbey. It's been long enough since we watched the series that it seems reasonably fresh. Might spend some time with that.

    Good Afternoon,
    DMIL's haircut as well as DW's wig trimmed then took them to breakfast.
    DMIL still acting crazy and has an attitude.
    Nothing else planned for today, rain expected this afternoon.
    Friend from church bringing supper so I will not have to cook tonight.
    Warm temps coming highs low 70's next week.

    Good afternoon BBB Friends.
    • Made an unplanned trip to Athens this morning with a neighbor. Bought eggs at Costco for our Men's Breakfast 10 days from now because they have become hard to find locally.
    • Steph, I believe you are in Chile Summer Time (CLST) which is 2 hours ahead of EST. Most people don't realize that nearly all of South America is east of Florida.
