    Good morning!

It got up to 63 yesterday! Today won't be as warm, but still above normal. I did a few things outside yesterday, and my rib was hurting last night. I don't know what I did to hurt it, but it reminds me that even two months out, it is not healed. They say that a displaced rib fracture like mine can take 4-6 months to get completely healed. Sigh....

Collin is still liking his job. At some point, we need to discuss with him getting him more off our payroll and also get him thinking about an apartment. That will still be awhile, I'm afraid. He is starting to pay a few more of his own expenses. In about a month, he will be off temp payroll and on regular payroll which will allow him to get health insurance. That will help. He turns 32 in May. It is past time.

Several little things to get done today along with some house cleaning. I have also started (very slowly) to do some declutter in the basement and garage.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning.

Had a couple inches snow last night, warming today to 40s. Blackened salmon and asparagus last night, with parmesan couscous. I remember Asparagus wasn't in the market till spring and only for a month or two.

Reading a book from 1904, dystopian sci-fi with cars, planes, highways, world government... page turner. After re-installing the keybed felt, the keys all have to be re-levelled and lots of other piano adjustments done over. Practice makes perfect...

Dave, I'll take your scale if it will tell me I"m 20 lbs. lighter.

DSIL & DS were in US Wood Toboggan championship races this weekend, in Maine. Their team all dressed like Bob Ross. DS says he's trading DSIL so next year they can win the gold.

Steve, hope the rib heals quick.

    Onward and downward.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Well, you had 63 in the Midwest, and we had snow on Puget Sound. Official total says two inches at the airport, though it looks like less than that here at the house. Haven't been outside yet, Sassy is snoozing at my feet. She'll love it. She gets as excited as any little kid when there is snow on the ground.

It will get up to the high 30s today, so the roads will be fine. We have errands to run.

Glad your son is settling into the work habit, Steve.

Steve hate to say but 4-6 months seems about right. Been there and DW too. Glad the Collin is doing OK with his job.

Wow Dave 2 " nice. Just a dozen tiny wet snow flakes at my house. Some ice but not much. Low 40s here later today.

    Stay warm all.

    Good Morning

Sounds like Colin might be settling down a bit. Good to hear the progress. Once he takes on more of his expenses leaving a job won't be so easy.

We had a hail storm yesterday mid day. Quite a racket on the skylights. Its the closest I want to come to snow in my backyard. We can't find where we stashed the winter stuff for trips to Yosemite. We need some gloves for when we walk on chilly afternoons like yesterday. More slow but steady progress is the plan today, but I do need to get out for some groceries and perhaps an oil change.

71 here last time I checked, sunny
DW still having a hard time balancing her blood sugar, low 40's to mid 50's; do not think she is eating enough especially carbs.
Cleaning ladies came today, house looks good and smells good but they are charging more than agreed at beginning. If shoulder and knee were better I could do.
Need to go check on DMIL but I really do not want to, DW does not feel like going.
Steve, neighbor across street that fell couple of weeks ago on ice says she was told would take 6 months for ribs to heal. told to rest and use a heating pad.
