- Lots of white stuff outside - betting 7"+
- Supposed to get some pre-surgical tests today; likely rescheduling. VA wants to fix deviated septum and do another sleep study (under anesthesia) at the end of the month.

Morning gang
We changed 2 time zones again.
Our travel day was uneventful but the quality of first class on this leg was abysmal especially compared to our flight w weeks ago on the same airline. I already filled ou the survey and 2 was the highest score I gave them.
But we arrived and made it through customs, got an Uber, checked in to apartment and still had time to get some groceries before dark which was after 8pm. Our apartment is nice but much smaller than the photos led me to believe. And many barking dogs so I'll dig out my earplugs tonight. But it was less than $400 for the week and is clean and we can drink the water here.
Today off to get some cash, get a haircut for Ron and find a bigger grocery.0 -

Hopefully we won't get hit too bad with snow coming in from Iowa. Schools here closed...Based on late afternoon transport hazzard driving. Suppose to land and start here around noon. 6 to 8 forcasted.
I'm heading out to Walmart now for some party supplies. Then stick arforecasted.
Hope the sleep study gets you some relief Skip....

It's 12 degrees here, this morning. Way too cold for Tumwater. Sassy rushed her backyard constitutional. Smart dog.
I had my nose reamed out, Skip. Sad to say, I was more miserable during recovery from that than from any of my surgeries. But it didn't last long. Hope your experience is better.
Lay-Z-Boy guy came and re-did the upholstery seam on my recliner. Fingers crossed that it holds this time. It sits next to a hide-a-bed Lay-Z-Boy couch that has held up through multiple military moves and more than 30 years of family use. We don't buy furniture very often. Redecorating just for the heck of it is an alien concept for us.

Trust me, this septum has been spouting off about congestion conspiracies and airflow inequality for decades. I’m just relieved the surgeons are finally stepping in to silence the mis/dis/mal information. Maybe I should’ve requested an executive order to straighten it out—seems like those are getting handed out for everything else these days

I talked to ds#1 and he said that you probably already have about 6" on the ground Mary!!
Crazy cold here with a light dusting of snow. I'm over the cold weather and counting down to the HOT and sunny cruise. I keep praying that we don't get sick and have safe travels. I have clozepan for anxiety and I think I need to take it now because my anxiety over getting sick and missing the cruise is off the charts!!
Good luck with that septum...I bet you could get an order, maybe not executive, but who knows?
