Dusting overnight. Some wintry mix expected today.
Glad you like your new washing machine, Steve. Ours tried to knock me out yesterday. I was emptying it, transferring the contents into the dryer, and the lid starting falling down as I was ducking down to grab the towels at the bottom of the washer and the lid caught me in the forehead. Yep, it left a mark.
    Safe travels home, Bill.
Have you filled up your new tool cabinet, Dave. 12º is cold, especially for Puget Sound.
M is home with cat. There was a brief moment where M was glad to see me, then she started doing a deep clean of the house.
    Prayers for Joanne.

    Onward and downward ;-)

We got wintry mix and it's an icy, slushy mess outside. Sunday we're getting bombed with snow although the forecast keeps changing.

Finally got the the piano keys and hammers regulated, just the dampers need to be adjusted. I should probably file down the grooves in the hammers to make it sound less harsh, but that's a tricky, delicate operation and so maybe I will do that later. And of course it needs one more tuning, which I started yesterday. The tuning pins tightened up nicely after I treated them, and it is still almost in tune, so should be easier.

I found a place to stay for the dogsled races, a tiny log cabin, apparently the only room left at the only motel in Portage ME. Forecast there shows a ton of snow and below zero nights, but the race isn't till March 1 and maybe they'll thaw a little.

Glad DW made it home to rescue you, Lee.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Good morning!

Lee, I'm glad that Mary has come out to see you and to deep clean your house for you. I do a lot of the cleaning around our house, but often under "close supervision" by Connie.

I just have not felt good the last few days. I know that the weather has something to do with it. It is zero degrees this morning. My arthritis has been bothering me, but my rib has really been hurting. I'm just very tired. I hope I snap out of this soon.

We are looking at another week or more of very cold with snow/ice possibilities at least three times in the coming week.

Bill, praying for safe travels for you today.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

I spent a couple hours rearranging things and cleaning in the shop. I run two electric space heaters out there and it gets warm enough to work but is cold enough to bother my old arthritic hands. I am sorting through a lot of small stuff - random drill nits, Allen wrenches and things like that. I can't pick them up with even light gloves on. By the time two hours are up, I have to head back into the house. Anyway, I am finding horizontal surfaces that haven't seen the light of day in months, if not years.

It's 19 degrees this morning, heading for a high of 35. Weather.com predicts an inch or two of snow today. NOAA says less than an inch. Either way, it will be wintery.

    Good Morning

Waiting to board. Snowing prediction of 4” stopping in the evening was a bit off. It snowed most of the night. But I managed to get the car cleaned, thawed a bit and out of its spot, picked up my sister and niece and made it to the airport by 5:30. I hate snow
