This week's challenge is a 7 Day Fitness Challenge with each day broken down for you. Sunday says "rest", so do at least 20-30 minutes of something and post each day to list your experiences...also tell us how that day's activities worked for you...positive or negative.

Have a great active week and see you in the chat thread!

Unfortunately, I won't be able to join in this week, but will cheer everyone on! I am still recovering from surgery and have 2 more weeks until I can do anything other than walk. I try to walk at least 20 minutes every day, but do a little more if I have the energy.5

I did my vibration plate today for 10 minutes. Not much else. Having a lazy Sunday.2

Sunday: did an aqua aerobics class followed by Pilates. I’m pretty new to Pilates reformer (this is my 4th class) and I am surprised by how much I am enjoying it! I’m also surprised at how weak I truly am! Even with all the Zumba and tennis I do, my legs are shaking like jello! Haha. But I’m determined to keep going and get stronger.2

Sunday-I completed a yogaburn workout (about an hour) and spent an hour on the treadmill (got sucked into a show and didn't realize I was on for that long, lol). I will probably do a stretch/relaxation video before bed. I have been pretty consistent with exercise the last few weeks and am pretty proud of myself. I usually start to get lax on my exercises at about week 2. So here is going into week 3 strong and confident. I'm so glad I found this challenge group to keep me going.2

With the snowy weather we had today my only exercise today was loving on my grandbaby.3

Sunday
Mostly, all I did today was a 25-mile bike ride. After that, I decided to skip my later plans, including the swim I had planned that would have earned me the February Swim Week badge.

Monday-I started week 3 of my Yogaburn 12 week DVD set. It was rough going. Although I had the motivation, the energy was not there, maybe because they were new exercises and seemed harder I lost energy faster than the previous weeks. Still completed it but I had to modify a few exercises just to make it through. I ended with a 45 minute walk on the treadmill.2

Monday

Tuesday-Got up before work and completed my yogaburn DVD and 30 minutes on the treadmill. My energy levels lasted the entire workout so I'm feeling good. Doing my workout early will free up time after work now to get some housework done and spend more time with the family.3

Sunday- Vibration plate for 10 minutes
Monday- Vibration plate, I did the list. no jumping Jack's because of my knee injury.
Tuesday- Vibration plate plus the list. No jumping Jack's.
So far so good. Up the count a little each day. I like that.

Wednesday- I completed my Yogaburn DVD and did 30 minutes on the treadmill. I did not wake up early enough to get it done before work and ended up doing it after work. Took me about an hour longer than normal, I had a lot of family interruptions today. Reminded me why I prefer to do my workout before work, lol.2

Thursday
🧘♂️yoga:22 min; ☯ tai chi:63 min; 🤽♂️aquafit:70 min; 🚶♂️walk:1.1 mi / 26 min; 👣10,101 steps
My plan for today was to walk to tai chi, then walk from there to the gym to do water aerobics, then walk home, and maybe ride my bike in the afternoon.
Well, I drove to tai chi, then drove to the gym where I walked a short mile before water aerobics, then drove home. And no bike ride. So, my steps weren't what I wanted, but otherwise not a bad day.
(February is a short month, so 10,000 steps a day won't get you to 300,000 steps for the month. I've got to do better these last 8 days if I'm going to hit 300,000!)
