    Yawn.

Your meetup yesterday was so fun. We were out until 10pm...that never happens. But today's tour pick up is at 5:30. I want a nap already.

Today is a short hike to a lake to watch the sunrise. Breakfast picnic included.

    Good morning.

Prayers for Joanne to get her discharge today, if it didn't come yesterday.

No President's Day off for me. This is our conference week, so all hands on deck. We usually get the Monday after as a day off, but with the legislature in full swing, that might not happen either.

    Mornin' BBB

M and I had dinner with the young couple and their 8 yr old daughter that will be buying our home here in CT last night. We discussed many things and had lots of laughs (the kid can be a bit moody but was in a great mood last night), but the main thing topic of the night was that it does seem that they will be able to get a loan. I guess once financing is secured, we will close and then they will lease back to us until I clear out in Jan 2026.
R knee getting replaced tomorrow. Hope it goes as well as the left knee 8 yrs ago.

    BBB OP ;-)

    Good morning.

Good luck with your surgery tomorrow Lee! I’m sure your wife is an excellent care giver!

We’re at the Atlanta airport. Got up at 2:15 left home at 3:15. Flight left Indy at 5:30. Needless to say, I’m pooped.
I have my BLEACH wipes all ready and I’m using them. Ha.

Well, I’ll take pictures and check in more often than usual since I’M ON VACATION!!! Longest cruise yet. 10 days.

Continue prayers for Joanne and including Lee now with his knee.

    G'Morning~
    • Have a wonderful vacation! #Deserved.
    • Up day to late watching race that really didn't have the outcome expected.
    • Catching up on school work this lazy Holiday.
    • T&Ps remain with Joanne.
    • Headed to brewery for lunch to connect with two coworkers (before we all become exFeds).
    • Good luck with knee, Lee!

    Cheers,
    Skipper

    Good Morning,
Got Joanne home yesterday, two doctors' appointments for her tomorrow and one for me. Need to figure out how to keep oxygen for about 5 hours, reckon will have to take two cylinders. If she is going to be on oxygen for an extended period will look into portable oxygen concentrator.
They want you there early Lee so you can hurry up and wait but fear not they will have you walking tomorrow before you are released. Then fun of physical therapy will began.
Kelly and Gary, hope you have a great cruise and wonderful weather.
Skip, are you accepting an early out option? Ones I know based in Atlanta are not taking early out. Couple that work with CDC might need to consider.
Lou all work and no play makes a burnout inevitable.
Think it is great that grands want to spend so much time with Dave and Rita

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Up early to have breakfast with the ROMEOs.
    • Safe travels Kelly and have fun. I hope the ATL airport treated you well.
    • Sounds like win-win with the CT house Lee. Good luck with surgery tomorrow.
    • Wild end to the race last night. With the rain it ended up being an all day event. I'll be at the track in Daytona in a couple of weeks.
    • I'm sure Joanne is happy to be home.

Sam - no sir, I did not. WAY too much ambiguity.
I predict (hope I'm wrong) that we will see another gov't shutdown next month - and this has the propensity to be a long drawn out effort. Following, I suspect across the board Reduction in Force (RIF) notifications. I am a protected veteran, BUT, nobody seems to care about merit protections anymore. The MPSB has been gutted.
