Work has been good, but I'm ready to walk out the door by 1 pm.
In home PT guy cleared me for out patient PT yesterday. 15 day post op check up with surgeon this afternoon. Out patient PT scheduled tomorrow. That is when my pain limits will be explored.
Need new batteries for my BP machine. I suspect I have been over doing it with salt the last few days and wanted to see how I was doing BP wise. Guess it has been awhile since the last time I used it.
When was the last time the windows were done, Mike?
Onward and downward ;-)

Good morning!
Lee, I pray that all goes well with your doctor visit and with your pain management.
You guys are not making me feel good with this window talk. Ours go back to the late '90s, but they are holding up pretty well. It is not time yet.
So far, so good with the blizzard. We are under a blizzard warning until 6:00 tonight. Maybe an inch of snow, some ice on the trees, and a LOT of wind. We briefly lost power last night. I'm surprised that we still have internet as it is Spectrum cable.
Collin chose not to go into work last night with the blizzard. I hope that does not affect his job status. That boy takes off work at the drop of a hat, and he has been warned about attendance.
Prayers continue for Joanne.
Have a great day!

Good morning gentlemen.
I saw that Mike signed in this morning, at the end of yesterday's string. I have done that, before.
Woke up to a cold house, this morning. The batteries in our 25-year-old thermostat had died and the furnace didn't run all night. It's easy to pop off the cover and install new batteries, bit not so easy to get the cover back on. There are two sets of little pins that must be perfectly aligned, or they get bent over and the thing won't work. We should have it replaced with a more up-to-date model, but I am cheap that way. Anyway, the furnace is purring along, now, and it has warmed to a more comfortable level.
I took three more boxes of books to Goodwill, yesterday. It is necessary, but it still kind of pains me. I have had most of these books for close to 50 years. But they are not among those that I regularly (as in every four or five years) read. The boxes weighed about 50 pounds each. That is about all I can handle to carry downstairs and out to the garage. My back ached a bit, as it was. I guess I have been a collector - or hoarder - of books. It is hard to part with them. Anyone want the Official U.S. Naval History of World War II, in 11 volumes? How about the full set of Winston Churchill's accounts of the same conflict? Libraries don't want them and people won't even take them at garage sales. Sad.

Good Morning
Beginning of the Lenten season means a change in routine & focus for me. It is usually an informative season for me. I made a final attempt to get my kidney scan scheduled yesterday. After an hour I decided I had enough. Hospital is getting faxes they cannot read from the practice and can't tell if mine is in there. They will escalate to try and resolve. I sent a fairly direct message to Oregon Urology through the patient portal for the Dr that after 2 weeks, if and when they fix their system, let me know and I will try and schedule but I was done chasing it down. All the issues are on their end. grumble grumble grumble. Bogie film yesterday "We're No Angels" was a lot of fun, big recommend if you see it available to stream. No plans for today beyond my Lent stuff and perhaps some additional study.

Good Afternoon,
Orthopedic this morning, rotator cuff torn again, need a reverse shoulder replacement; sounds fun, NOT They want signoffs from general practitioner and cardiologist before scheduling
Storm came through early morning, sunny now but very windy.
Ash Wednesday service at 6 this evening, not sure I'll make it depends on DW.
Collin is from a different generation than us, just hope need for workers will keep him employed.
We've got a couple windows that have lost their seal and need replacing, I just keep procrastinating.
