    Still quite swollen. But less drainage. This has been miserable week.

    good morning BBB friends.
    it rained overnight but should just be cloudy today. Daffodils and crocuses are popping up all over.
    I have to pick up a cake this morning, then just chill while DW cooks a pulled pork supper. DS and crew are coming over later for conversation and board games.

    Looks like it's been awhile since I've check in. Congratulations on the retirement date Skip. I know you will keep busy. I'm amazed you lasted the last 2 years.

    Hannah is adorable. I follow several dauchaund groups on FB. They make my feed much more pleasant.

    Buenos Aires was as expected. As busy South America city. We took a hop on hop off bus tour one day and a smaller version with shuttle to the airport the second day. From the airport we hailed the Holiday inn shuttle, then just had dinner at the hotel. 2am wakeup for our 5:30 flight. Glad we got out early as BA had power issues and the airport was closed much of the day ( I hear via the cruise FB group)

    We are settled into our house in Cotacachi. It is awesome. We have a guest room. And a Casita is anyone wants to visit. Town is adorable with a million little shops selling mostly leather goods. It will be a miracle if we don't buy something.

    Food is cheap except for American items. I spent approx $50 ($10 each for coffee and oil) on the items pictured. Then another $60 for 2 jars of pickles, peanut butter, and pistachios at the store that caters to gringos.

    • Hopefully you are on the uptrend Skip and the procedure will bring long term relief.
    • I remember as a young Airman I was on a Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to NYC. I got bumped to first class and sat next to a very attractive young lady from Quito, Ecuador. I recall the flight didn't last long enough.
    • It is warming up into the 70s today so I need to get the motorbike washed.
    • It is that time of year in Georgia where you want to plant your annuals but those of us who have been around for a while know there is one more cold blast coming.

    Good morning.

    I know I missed the past couple days, so congrats on setting a date, Skip! And I think we need more pictures of the new addition, Dave (and happy birthday)!

    Buenos Aires is one of my bucket list cities, Steph. In elementary school we did a vocabulary story where we dressed our tango dancers so I've wanted to see it since. Similar to how I wanted to see the aqueducts in Spain which we scratched off the list 6 years ago.

    Not much going on here. South By Southwest will have us avoiding the core of the city, so we'll probably do the opposite and go to Round Rock or something.

    Crossed 1,300 days on Thursday.
