Rise and shine…
Meeting up with a friend for some end-of-season icefishing. People were out on the ice at 3 nearby ponds yesterday. Will bring my drill to measure as we go, and make sure it's safe.
Coffee, breakfast and packing. Friend is picking up shiners on his way to the pond. (aka lake).
Onward and downward…

Good morning!
I see that I was AWOL yesterday. I did get some good rest in.
Today is going to be very busy. I am going to paint a door, and possibly a door frame. I'm painting the door down in the garage. The framing is up and shimmed in one door. Two more doors to go. I also have house cleaning and laundry. Perhaps some outside work. I have a ton of things I'd like to do.
About five years ago, I purchased a 200w solar kit for light in the shed, and just because I think that solar is cool. I'm finally getting it rigged up now. I have a battery arriving on Wednesday. I'm rigging up a frame so that I can mount the solar panels (2 x 100w). I have a 1000w inverter. I won't be able to plug in a 1500w space heater, but I can have lighting and use electric tools. I have been learning a lot. Now I also need to toy with the idea of wiring the Tuff Shed for lights and outlets? I will be able to use the shed to repair equipment, etc. Somewhat of a man cave?
I still have not started on taxes.
Prayers continue for aches and pains.
Have a great day!

Good morning gentlemen.
I'd like to build a shed, just to get all the yard equipment out of the garage and my shop. But the only place to put one is where Rita has the bulk of her garden, so that isn't happening.
Should be a dry day, so I hope to mow the lawn (eat your hearts out in New England). I have an appointment at the VA at 1:30, to get my hearing aids worked on, so the mowing will be late afternoon. Thank you, daylight saving time.

Good Morning
This is our last dry day for a while, then a long stretch of rain. Then I should be able to start sheet mulching our lawn. I have been a bit under the weather with the return of some of my issues and have been taking it easy. Hopefully they will pass soon. I am thinking of doing a run or two to the transfer station to empty to make room in the garage but need to check in with Heather to see what she has planned. Laundry and vacuuming and then back to tax prep which has been stalled.

Some more spring showers headed this way.Not too much today. Just over 0.25 inch overnight of gentle showers. Did hit 60 deg yesterday. A bit harder getting going in the a.m. w daylight saving time.
Have fun on the ice Mike. Our local pond (aka "lake") never had thick enough ice to venture on it this year.
Glad our taxes are done. We had plenty withheld to avoid quarterly taxes etc So got some refunds from Fed and State Got our refunds in a record 5 days time electronically.
Hey Lee have "fun" in "physical torture".
Heal up folks and get ye olde aches and pains under control. I think the change in the weather has triggered some in me.

Good Afternoon,
Physical this morning trying to get doctors to sign off for shoulder surgery
Tomorrow have appointments for DW with oncologist then I have an appointment with surgeon to check eyelids which have drooped down over pupils.
Enjoy torture Lee, it does help even if it seems as making you worst generally.
Be safe Mike, fishing on ice way too cold for me and Arthur.
We have what is called southern grass which is just beginning to show green so should not have to cut till mid April.
