    From the YGTBFKM files:

HR: You're not eligible to retire.

Me: I believe that is a mistake. I have the years/age.

    15 emails later.

HR: You do not have the age requirement at 49 with 30 years of service, you do not have the age requirement!

Me: I am 54 with 35 years of service. Try again!

    RADIO SILENCE!

HR Dir at 5p: How can I help?

Me: Silently stares; LONG awkward pause. Asks nicely - to look me up in the computer and tell me my age and service date. He does. Shocked Answer: you are nearing 54 and 35 years of service in April 2025!

Me: Check your email and read the 40 emails that says otherwise by your quite capable staff who have removed me from retirement eligibility! FIX IT!!!

HR: I don't appreciate your tone!

Me: Hangs up before saying something even more controversial!

    INSANE!!!!!!!

Not enough fingers and toes for the new generation to do that kind of math, Skip. 🤷

We have an event in the building that we're expecting 500+ for that I can only comfortably accommodate 300. Uncomfortably - 400. And they all get boxed lunches. 👀

THESE are the people DOGE needs to fire. INEPT is just not a strong enough adjective to describe this level of idiocy!

    I'm sorry Skip. How frustrating.

Lou will everyone show? If I arrived and it was that crowded I'd slip out the back.

I pretty much slept the day away. I feel better today. Housekeeper arrives soon so need to do a couple of things to prepare and then we will likely head to a coffee shop.

Have several little stores I want to hit up. I really need a salad spinner. The lettuces are straight off the farm so super dirty. Washing in a colander is fine but getting them dry is a PITA.

I think we are going to reach out to the host and extend our stay to end of May. The house we are in is great and the town is super cute and very walkable.

    good morning BBB friends.
Yes, Skip, but inept defines DOGE, so identifying same would be like suicide. I believe the HR departments across all human endeavors, public and private, have frustrating their customers as job 1.
Hope the day is a better one.

    Good morning BBB friends.

    • Started the day with my Emmaus Reunion group.
    • Now at the local tire shop for an oil change and tire rotation.
    • Yeah, it may be time to move on Skip.
    • Our federal government has become way too bloated.
    • Have a good day BBB.

    Hi BBB

    Jump before it sinks Skip

I was told to print out hard copies of my ssi statement now, and any other docs of the utmost. Never know, they may want to fudge the fica pay in of years of employment. Or just deny they don't have my record or ss number . Or maybe just blame it on getting hacked by those !*%$ and doge has no one's records anymore 😆😉. Sounds like a bad movie...

Anyway…I got a request from the offical census bureau of bs. They want to know wayyyy too much. Whats Mortgage loan, how many things do you own: cars, phones, electronic devices, rec vehicles, other property etc. What is the cost of my utilities. Hmmmm Its called the American Community Survey. Legit and On the website WTH??

    Anyone else get one?

    Cheers BBB
