    Mornin' BBB

How are you feeling now after the deviated septum repair and removal of all the packing?

Knee replacement incision tingling kept me up last night. Re-positioning did not work, icing helped temporarily. The incision is not 100% healed yet, so I am a little afraid to apply something like a lidocaine patch over it.

PT this morning. The place is kinda like Cheers without the beer. You walk in and everyone knows your name.

You all may remember our practice receptionist that woke up dead about 6 years back, well, her husband a keeled over with a heart attack on Valentine's Day 2025. I think he was 58. Worked for Sikorsky helicoptor. Two daughters. Older girl is a real go getter, but the younger is just out of high school and drifting. I just gave him some venison from my recent January hunt and spayed his dog. I just found out yesterday. Strange that there are no announcements to be found online. He is a former Navy Seal and has a spot in Arlington if they so choose.

    Morning BBB

We were planning to to take the bus to a hot spring today but huge thunderstorm and apparently the road the bus would take often has mudslides. Postponed to next week

The Farmers market is today so we will likely go there, but most stalls want pre-orders (I hear) and since I thought we would miss I didn't order anything. Going to go anyway to see what all is available. We need coffee and eggs for sure, and fresh flowers.

    Good morning.

Yesterday, Leo lost it with big black dog. Growling at a dog across the street, doing the charging bill thing, then slipped his harness ran across the street and bit BBD. No idea what it is about this dog that sets him off like that. 'Twas but a flesh wound and BBD's owner was okay. BBD is 5 times the size of Leo and is a sweet dopey dog. 🤷

    Good morning BBB Friends.

    • Sad story about your Navy Seal friend Lee. Let's hope the daughters are okay. 🙏
    • We may need to send Leo to charm school.

    Good morning BBB friends.

Walking my BGD (big golden dog) we frequently encounter Leo types, though none have managed to run to the attack. Sassy used to respond with her own barks and snarls, but now generally treats them with distain.

The upholstery on my recliner has started to come apart again. A repair technician has been here three times, already, fixing the same thing. I am about fed up with Lay-Z-Boy. Now I am scheduled for a video call with another tech. I just want them to pick the chair up and refund me my money.

Find your Zen place, Skip. Inner calm, no matter what goes on around you.

    Good Morning,

Started day with Emmaus group, then took Pablo for morning walk

Doctor had not signed form for oxygen generator, has been signed now, we wait.

DW has a scan tomorrow afternoon.

Yesterday was a beautiful day ended up being 79 here. Today should only go up to 74. 75 tomorrow and 78 Saturday before storms come in late afternoon or evening.

58 sounds young for one to die from heart attack but seeing some in 30's now.

Sounds as Leo maybe suffering from little man syndrome,

    Good afternoon.

Sorry about your friend Lee. That's young to die. Hope the daughters are OK.

    How is your nose skip?

Sounds like you're loving where you are Steph! Awesome

Off the rest of the afternoon, My easy Thursday! WOO HOO.

Gorgeous day AGAIN in Indiana. Last night was burgers, tonight is chilis for their 50th anniversary and $5 margaritas. Then, leftover ribs for dinner.

I guess I should do laundry or something while I'm home.

Make it a great afternoon ,

Lee - so sad. Hand Salute to a fallen warrior…… I hope you are able to continue to be a positive influence to the girls…..and help the one find her path.

Rumor has it - a puppy lottery winner gets her spoils today! Yay, HANNAH! 🐾🐾🐾🐾

I'm shocked Laz-Boy hasn't already outfitted you with a new recliner after the first two attempts. We sorta had similar issue years ago with a section (power recliners) bought from Macy's. After waiting months (China parts) with a recliner in the "up" position" - they refunded us a hefty portion. Fast forward 3 months later - the motor on the second recliner side of sectional went out. This time, they refunded us entire amount and we were able to find someone to jerry rig a different motor. We gave the sectional to DN when we moved (downsized) to current diggs.

NOT happy with VA! 14 month wait for a denial. Clock resets with a new (stronger) claim/nexus. Aggravating AF!

Its gotta be close to MillerTime!
