Good morning!
We are expecting a "bomb cyclone" today with rapidly falling air pressure. There is a warning for aches and pains today. Oh joy! At least this one will not be a blizzard, and it is setting up for the worst to be east of us. This storm has us in a fire warning at a level I've not seen before.
The door frames painted poorly. I put two coats of paint and will still need to do a touch up. The sad thing is that this is the first of at least three doors.
Prayers continue for all of you gentlemen, including spouses.
Have a great day!

Mornin' gents.
Starting to get back to somewhat normal sleep cycle. Taking pain meds only at night before bed. Still some swelling at the end of the day. I was working on a rain gutter to clear the end of it and got the foot of my surgery leg caught in the ground cover at that corner of the house. Went down, but was able to downward dog myself back up. Surprisingly, the entanglement and fall did not cause any pain.
Bomb cyclone. Had to look that one up. KC area weather is as bad as Chicago, maybe worse.
Frustrating about the Lazy Boy recliner.
Onward and downward ;-)

Good morning…
Have been succumbing to cravings lately. Yesterday grabbed a loaf of Irish soda bread as I was shopping, got home and had a slice with a cup of decaf—by last night half the loaf was gone. Sigh.
We finally heard some news about our piano teacher. He's in a rehab facility. I guess that probably means he broke something, so it will take awhile before he's back in action. The class met without him and the five of us took turns playing our scales, exercises and songs. Beforehand I tuned a couple of notes that were really off, but measuring the pitch of all the keys showed the whole piano is really out of tune. The Center was going to tune it but now there's another budget crisis in town and so that won't happen soon.
Lee, sounds like a close call with your leg; glad it turned out okay.

Good morning gentlemen.
Started turning an urn, yesterday. Kind of ghoulish, I suppose. I had a pair of them for years that we always said were ours. Rita's ended up being my mom's. Now I need one ready for Rita when the time comes - many years from now. Anyway, it's a fun turn.

Dave, you caused me to remember one of my aunts who bought a casket and put it in her living room as a coffee table; said she needed to enjoy it while living and it was ready for her when she past, she ended up using it for her old maid sister when she passed.
Dealing with wood doors that are going to be painted, recommended sealing with "sand and seal" or varnish before priming. There is a reason when I was building that I always required one coat of oil base then two coats of latex.
Forecasters say we are going to have severe storms early Sunday morning.
Taking DW for another scan this afternoon.
When it is cold and damp out, I generally cannot get full, therefore I overeat.

Good Morning
Lee, you make me nervous.
Turning your own burial urn. For anyone else it would seem a bit eerie but not for our master craftsman. You could turn them for the whole family and watch them squirm when they open them on Christmas Day. Could be fun!
I should have all the tax documentation done for taking in on Monday. I didn't keep great records on several remodel projects, but I have receipts, emails etc. It has taken longer than I thought to recreate and summarize the details on the major projects. It hailed on and off yesterday so it was a good day to stay in. Our walk attempt died when Heather's stomach acted up. Today is the first of 4 days of heavy rain which has started. We are supposed to drive to Eugene this evening for a concert at an old bookstore/music venue. We will have to re evaluate and check road conditions. Sometimes the river floods the connector road to Eugene just outside of town during heavy rains and high tides. It is also a dark enough drive without heavy rain. Hopefully, we will be able to go, enjoy dinner, the music and a tense drive home.
