Good morning! Happy Spring!
We are starting Spring with having had snow on the last day of winter. We are also starting the day below freezing. This is going to nip our magnolia and other plants that are starting.
I don't know why, but Frankie woke me at 4:00 this morning. She seemed anxious to go outside, so I got up. Once I'm up, it is hard for me to go back to bed. I will be wanting a nap later for sure.
I need some tips from Mike. I'm feeling this need to declutter, but I don't know where to start, so I don't ever really get started. My basement is a mess, my garage is a mess, and I have half started projects everywhere. Also, I keep busy with various projects. I am getting over 7500 steps a day. Do I really need to be concerned with exercise on top of this?
Have a great day!

Mornin' gents.
Wow, the Spring Equinox snuck up on me. Isn't usually a few days later in March?
Yes, my hunting buddies in mid northern Kansas posted photos of the snow in their yard after it hitting 65° the day before.
Junk guys coming today to haul away junk we don't want.
M is going back to Colorado this weekend, so I took her out to a nice small Italian restaurant last night. She is mostly vegetarian but enjoys their salads and vegetarian (sometimes chicken) options. I had octopus (very good) and then squid ink pasta with smoked salmon, shrimp, and scallops (also very good). I could not finish the pasta (this never happens).
Unfortunately, my replacement knee was barking at the end of the meal. I had met her at the restaurant directly after work. After a full day at work, I still benefit from getting horizontal with ice on the knee for 15 minutes or so before dinner.

Good morning gentlemen.
Steve, the thing about just letting a watch count your steps is that all steps aren't the same. You need to get your pulse and breathing rate elevated for an extended time. Just moving around the house is better than being sedentary, but you need to get to a level that works your heart and lungs. A college PE instructor once told me I should walk at a speed where I could talk but not be able to sing.
Having many projects around in various stages of completion is the essence of retirement. Enjoy the process. There is no finish line.
Careful with that knee, Lee.
Our spring is starting with showers and rain, just as winter ended.
Bought a new ultra-light fishing rod yesterday. Now I am looking for a day I can get out and use it.

Good afternoon…
Met with piano classmates again this morning. Hoping our teacher gets back soon, but falling and getting sent to a rehab facility is not a good sign. Probably broke something.
Hiked five miles with a friend yesterday. Nice stretch of pine forest leading to a river that was at a nice level for some white water paddling, but probably choked with dead trees.
The lake we fished 8 days ago with a foot of ice is completely clear of ice; amazing!
Started fine tuning my Steinway last night. Amazing how great it sounds when freshly tuned.
Steve, your clutter sounds like mine only you have a basement and garage. Neighbor I used to know would say, clutter always expands to fill any existing storage space.Onward and downward

Good Afternoon
I lost track of time this morning. I just grabbed a haircut in Eugene on my way for my CT scan of the kidneys. Rained all morning but it has eased up now. Hopefully an uneventful drive home.
