    Good morning!

I got the 2nd door hung yesterday. Then I took the door off to take to the garage for painting. It weighs almost 50 pounds. I carried it down to the garage by myself. Only a little pain to my rib. I guess that I am nearly healed. It hurts this morning, but not too bad. I'll ask Connie to help me carry the door back upstairs when it is painted. I will also prep the door frame today and hopefully get a first coat of paint on it today. All of this is requiring two coats of paint and then some touch up. I am hoping to move on to yard work after this door is painted, before moving on to paint the bathroom, and hanging a new door for Collin.

I love my new solar kit in the shed. Collin's bedroom is right above the garage (raised ranch). Since he sleeps during the day, I took a board that I wanted to cut out to the shed, plugged in a saw, and cut away. It is nice to have other options than taking an extension cord away from the house so that I can make some noise.

Frankie does not like the pneumatic nailer. All 85 pounds of her got up on Connie's lap when I was nailing in the door frame. The 15 gauge nailer makes a lot more noise than my little 18 gauge finish nailer.

    Have a great day!

    Mornin' gents.

Haven't seen our storage shed empty since we filled it full of kids toys and memorabilia M didn't want to throw out when we moved in 2002. It is a pretty big and elevated 15x30 shed. M always thought we should have a yard sale. Yard sales are not my jam. We had the junk guy come and empty it yesterday. It had turned into a mouse haven.

Turns out the entire engine in my 2022 Tundra has been recalled and I am getting a brandy new engine. I kind of want to say no thank you, since if it ain't broke don't fix it. But with my luck, it would have a problem at the most inconvenient time, so it is scheduled in a few weeks. It will be a two day install.

I will be maintaining a long distance marriage again starting tomorrow. It has been very nice having M home and I wish she would stay longer but our place in CO will be having some landscape work starting soon and she needs to be there to supervise. I will also miss the cat.

Hope the piano teacher heals up soon and can return to your group, so you can practice on your well tuned Steinway.

    Onward and downward ;-)

Chilly, damp and dark morning here.

Bill, I hope your scan came out okay.

Steve, a book I found useful for getting motivated to deal with clutter, was “Making Room for God” by Mary Sperry. Rereading it now in hopes of shoveling out once more. Although Lee’s idea—calling the junk man—has some merit to it.

Sam good luck with the upcoming shoulder surgery.

    Onward and downward.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Gee, Lee, 15 X 30 is more of a barn than a shed. Detached garage? That's about the size of my shop.

Caught another rat on our deck, the other day. Since I put out the traps a few weeks back, I have killed three rats and a squirrel. We have yet to have any such vermin inside the house - though we did find a mouse in a bag of dog food in the garage, years ago. If I could find a way to trap racoons, I'd be fixed.

Finally got the results of Rita's CT scan from three weeks ago. I had to call the neurology clinic - again. It seems her doctor is on paternity leave and Rita's case fell through the cracks. Anyway, the scan showed nothing out of the ordinary.

Both Oregon's men and women have playoff games today. I might spend some time on March madness.

    Good Morning,

Lots of stuff coming up: Reserve shoulder replacement March 31st, RPR Blepharoptosis Levator Rescj/Advment Xtrnl (eyelid lift) April 10th, Joanne will have breast surgery May 9th.

Beautiful day here just a little cool. 70's and sunny tomorrow.

I need to clean out basement, we have boxes down there that we moved from lake 8 years ago and a couple of boxes that were moved to lake 19 years ago. Or I could leave it for kids to clean out once we are gone, some of it is their stuff.

    Good Morning

Sam, that is quite a list you and Joanne are facing. Prayers will continue

Long day yesterday in Eugene. Scan was pretty routine. The use of contrast and no contrast dragged it out a bit, but it was really well run, and fairly comfortable. I won't know anything till I see the Doc on 4/11. We hit Home Depot before the scan and Lowes after and finally found a ceiling lamp for our dining "room" at Lowes. We rarely shop there and they had some ugly stuff but we found one. I will install this weekend. We also stopped at DQ for their free small ice cream promotion. It was crowded and chaotic and seemingly not worth it for a little cone of vanilla soft serve. But it was fun. Rain continues today so I don't know if we will get. out at all. I need to stay and focus on things here anyway, but I wouldn't mind getting a walk in.
