    Morning BBB

    Im up too early for a weekend Sunday morning!

    Had a fun celebration for my great nephews 4th birthday par tee yesterday. Golf theme, so I dressed up as his caddy. Even carried the 4th hole flag I made from a broom handle. He loved it lol.

    I have a whole chicken I'm going to make some soup with today.

    Rainy chilly day here. Nothing else on tap.

    Good morning BBB friends.

    I love homemade chicken soup. Long for the old days, when they sold stewing chicken. That was old chickens, too tough to fry, but full of flavor for a long cook. My mom used to buy "retired" laying hens from a nearby chicken farm. Night and day from the young pullets offered in the stores now.

    Hope the VA possibility works out for you, Skip.

    Hearing a new pastor candidate preach at church this morning. Looking forward to it. Then watching some basketball - GO DUCKS! Rain all day.

    MMorning BBB

    Meeting the hiking group soon. We are taking 2 busses to a nearby lake for our hikenthen ending at a small town for a festival.

    If we get back in time we will head to the groundbreaking ceremony for the new animal hospital. They supply service to all of the street dogs. They have vet students come down monthly to spay, neuter, deworm etc the many street and indigenous owned dogs.

    Then the only brewery in town is open today from 11-6. Busy day.

    Good morning.

    I'm questioning all my life decisions that are putting me on a 7AM flight to Dulles tomorrow.

    We'll be seeing friends this afternoon for a doggy play ate and that's all we've got on the schedule so far.

    • I was up early to man the tv cameras at church.
    • I would question that decision too Lou. I can only imagine what time you'll have to get up.
    • Skip, if you get the VA job you will be able to complain to yourself if something goes wrong with your care.
    • Homemade chicken soup sounds good. I am having some Costco bought lobster bisque with added shrimp for lunch.
    • Excellent motorcycle ride (~200 miles) yesterday.
    • It is pollen season in our neck of the woods.

    Been churched, DW stayed home because she has a bad cough

    DMIL called three times last night, did not need anything, wants attention and aggerating

    Breakfast with really old men in neighborhood in morning, lodge tomorrow night.

    highs in 70's for next week with rain tomorrow
