Off to the races. Doing a ophthalmic surgery that I have never done before on a friend's best friend. 😐️

Wish me luck. Actually it should go pretty well. I have a colleague veterinarian that did a residency in ophthalmology assisting.

The pork belly was a bit fatty, I know that is the definition of pork belly, but I think it would have rendered off a bit better if I hadn't wrapped it at the stall. It was my first pork belly. I think I will have to try again.

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Mornin' men.

DGS's team lost the championship hockey game yesterday, but played their hearts out. 6-4. Amazing the speed and control 10 year olds can have on the ice. A bit of a rough game. Went to 99 restaurant afterwards with DS and fiancee who came to the game; they are planning a wedding in the fall. The "Coyotes" team all went out for pizza somewhere with the coaches and parents, but we skipped that.

Good luck at the shoulder repair shop today Sam. Hope all goes well.

Bill, I like hearing how you guys are getting out to explore different places so often.

The PianoWorld.org tuners' forum had no real advice. Only one tuner had ever seen a piano with half-moon spoons, and he didn't have to adjust them. I found another forum where it was suggested to tighten them with superglue where they screw into the wood—I may try that on a few and see if it helps.

Coffee and make a list of the day's chores. Need to get out for a walk, though it's cold and foggy this morning, not enticing weather.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Hope Sam's surgery goes well and that he gets to come home.

Rita thought she was suffering allergies, but she started running a fever, so I slept on the couch downstairs. Coffee seems especially good this morning.

More turning wet wood planned on a wet Monday.

    Good Morning

Praying for a very routine surgery for Sam and peace & healing for Joanne.

Yesterday's weather caused us to reconsider our visit to the lighthouse for the anniversary celebration of the light being first lit. We were able to head to the movie theater to see "Columbia River Canoe Project", a documentary about 2 guys who canoed from up near Butte into the headwaters of the Columbia river and on to the Pacific. A mere 1300 paddle and portage. The lead guy was there for Q&A. Fascinating stuff. The lead guy was there and did a Q&A afterward. Pretty much a lazy day beside that. Back to it today though.

I too am sending best prayers and wishes for Sam's surgery and continued healing for Joanne.

Still kinda of showery and chilly until next wee-end I think.

    Cheers
