good morning gentlemen.
Kind of terse Mike 😀
Laptop keyboard isn’t working so I am on my phone. I hate typing on my phone.
Got in a 6-mile fast walk at the state park near us. Never did get into the shop. Maybe today.Hope Sam is doing well. I recall the first few days after shoulder surgery being kind of rough.

God my laptop to work (really, it just started working on its own). So, I will post a couple images from the state park where I walked yesterday. Six miles from our house. The first is of a beaver pond, the second just a random view along the trail.

Good Morning
Thanks for the pictures Dave. You must smile a lot as you walk those trails.
Heather and I ventured into the garage yesterday and went through what was left in there. Unpacked a few things and laid out a plan to get boxes out of the house for storage or emptying. Today is a trip the Habitat for Humanity ReStore to donate our moving blankets and some things and arrange for a furniture pickup, then Goodwill. I have a couple of large boxes to do which have large things like the grill or the shopvac. We parked in the garage for the first time since we loaded it up. Good to make progress and to have a path forward.

Hope your checkup went well, Lee.
I forgot to come back and say what I was going to say… I usually wait a minute to see if I double posted with someone else. Didn't have coffee yet, so "The empty vacuum of space" took over.
Nice pics Dave. Reminds me of some of the landscape here, except greener than us this time of year, and mossy-er.
Got caught up in piano fixing today, think I finally figured out the damper adjustment technique. Once that is over and done with (it will be a rough, unprofessional job, only my second time) I can put the piano back together, do another fine tuning and be sort of done for awhile. Eventually I want to file the worn string grooves out of the felt hammers, which will really mellow the sound, but that's a whole project in itself. I have to remember this is a hobby, not a full time job…
Hope Sam is doing well.
At yesterday's Bible study I heard the woman in our group who has been battling cancer has entered a hospice program and discontinued chemo. She's been coming for many years and has become a friend to us all.
Onward and downward…
