    Rise and shine…

Paddling today; have to get my canoe from under lodge bro's deck where I've kept it since condo outlawed canoes on cars in parking lot. River should have good flow, snow's been melting fast. Weather sunny and 60º.

Pain in back only hurts when I turn a certain way and then ouch! So it's definitely a skeletal-muscular thing, not cardiac. Thinking back, I overdid hand weights a few days ago, which is something that used to trigger same pain in same place.

Bill, I thought the tax on gain selling a house was deferred if you bought another house with the proceeds…no?

Lee, Best to your DS. DSIL's brother flies choppers in mid-east.

Sam, don't scratch your eyes out. Healing will come with time.

    Good morning!

Bill, your tax bill makes me feel very good about my $4K. It still hurts whether you have saved for it or not.

Sam, continued prayers for your healing.

Today is household chore day. I'm also hoping to get a few yard things done today. Plenty to do.

My hot tub is out of commission until I can figure out a repair. There is a repair person on the far other side of the KC metro. I don't know if he can help me over the phone, if he will need to come out, or if I will need to take the pump/motor to him. I just saw what I wrote about the far other side of the metro. I have already forgotten that I commuted that for the last several months of employment. Sweet that those thoughts are going away.

I didn't get my bike fixed. I'm hoping for today. Dave, have you been riding at all lately?

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

The cantata went fine, I guess. Now on to other Holy Week activities.

Haven't been on my bike since last summer. I need to get out, for sure.

My nephew and his wife announced that they are expecting. There is a baby shower planned in May. I think I will turn a rattle to give them - kind of a challenging and fun project.

    Good Morning

Turning a rattle. You amaze me.

A week and more of gorgeous weather ahead! Just a bit windy at times. We have family in town for a few days, Heather's Twin and her husband. They were in California for a family celebration of some sort and drove up last night. Not sure of the plan. Heather's in charge. I will try and track down the missing 1099 info for CA part of my old annuity. Then I call the tax accountant give her the info or have her file the extension till I can get it. Either way, I write the checks. Also need to increase my withholding so I don't need to make quarterly payments.

Luvin' my new bike shoes with BOA tighteners (instead of velcro straps you turn a knob and it tightens up the whole shoe in clicks using an effective tiny fishing line looped around three anchor points. Google it. I have another pair with BOA for summer.

Will be 70s today and will enjoy being outdoors. Planted some lettuce starts yesterday. DW is doing nicely with her broken pinky toe that is buddy taped.

    Cheer all.
