    I’m taking a hike in the Olympic Mountains today. So it will be a good day for me. Hope you all find a bit of joy, too.

    Morning gang

    The coffee in Ecuador is just meh. We have tried several kinds. But the coffee experience will be fun. Planned activities are hike to see Co€k in the rock (big red bird), coffee picking/processing lesson, basket weaving, sugar cane farm tour and pickelball lessons.

    I'm In the use up food stage and made stirfry yesterday. Not enough soy sauce left so it was pretty yuck. Have leftovers for today so need to see how I can perk it up with what I have on hand.

    • Emmaus group canx this week so had coffee and chatter with the neighbors.
    • Hannah and I are back from our morning walk.
    • It's not raining which is a nice change. Springtime after the pollen is gone is wonderful in our neck of the woods.
    • I concur with Steph's healing wishes.

    Hi BBB

    I'm knee deep in customer follow ups trying to create some work. Pretty bleek ...Sigh

    My joy today: I'm seeing lil T at 4pm for a couple hours. I'll take him to the library for a bit. Then it's home to chicken meatballs and raviolis. The kid loves pasta of any kind. Must be the Italian genes from his paternal Grami's side 😉. I love pasta too lol!

    I have some porch flower planting to do too.

    Steph, stir fry sauce with no soy sauce? Garlic, ginger , sesame oil, broth. I'd thicken it with some cornstarch or flour n water solution. Or chili garlic paste and broth. Or lemon, Lime, sirchaca, honey.... good luck on experiments!

    I hope dh picks up a hobby next year in his retirement. He'll be bored and days will be long. He says he will likely get a part time job too.

    We'll soon have the Spring pine tree pollen all over everything at the lake. Such a pita to clean off of the rv's and stuff.

    Had a dr appointment today. Getting on hormone patch. The night sweats are killing me. DH might kill me too. Ha.
