Good morning!
Wild storms yesterday and last night. We received over 2.5 inches of rain. Some minor wind damage. It is supposed to be sunny now for the next three days at least.
I ended up having a good birthday. I had wanted to get out for a long walk or kayak, but with the weather that was not happening. I did get the back brake on my bike fixed. I also received a new controller for my solar kit that I started to install before it started raining again. Connie got me a new stereo for the basement. I have not had my own stereo in over 30 years. We did not get to go out to dinner last night as the weather was bad and Connie was not feeling well. We will go out for dinner tonight.
I don't need to go out for a big dinner. Connie also got me a new scale. I'm up to 177 pounds. That is an 8 pound gain since I broke my rib. I need to get focused on getting my weight down again. I have 12-17 pounds to lose again. Ugh! I think that the weight gain is part of the problem that I have been having with my knees hurting so badly.
The yard is too soggy to mow today, but I have a ton of other things to get done today.

This is the only day this week we do not have a doctors appointment, tomorrow there will be three.

Good morning gentlemen.
Rainy here today, too. Should clear up this afternoon. Heading into a state forest for firewood, for DS and DDIL. We'll use my truck and chainsaw. They have a permit to get wood from recent logging areas.

Looks like it got a little wet in the night. But partly cloudy, light winds today or what we call normal.
My hip got alot worse after my morning wake up stretch and then hip mobility movements, even though I took the easier approach they have. Walking is difficult and painful. Today I will break out the foam roller and see if I can find a trigger point and do some active release. Otherwise it is off to the clinic to be checked. Election day today so we need to drop off our ballots at the police station. We both were trying to research the candidates more. We each made the best decisions we could. We need to get to the store too if possible. I need to find my cane.

2.5 inches of rain would be a big big problem for PDX area w lots of local flooding.
Already looks like clearing and some sunbreaks in PDX. Think the early showers may miss us.
