Happy June!

Hi @lauren_989 and Captains!
There's a mistake with baodell17724 according to what he just posted, he's not on the May spreadsheet anymore (he was at the bottom as he just returned but it's not there now) and on the June spreadsheet it says starting is 209.4. Here's what he posted today:
Starting Weight: 286.2 lbs (6 / 1 / 2024)
Past Weight: 211.2 lbs
Current Weight: 208.4 lbs
Down 2.8 lbs
🙂
Since he's not on the May spreadsheet I can't log today's weigh in (he weighs in Sat) and the June starting weight is incorrect, maybe we can just put 208.4 as starting weight for June and move forward? Only possible issue is if he qualified as a top three he won't be recognized for it.

@Katmary71 I will update his starting weight for June. I take new/returning members off the prior month (May) so it doesn't affect the numbers since they didn't weigh in all month.

@lauren_989 Thanks for letting me know that I thought I was losing it! 🙄
Also on Mission Slimpossibles @sleepygirl79 says she weighed in and I didn't see it but she hadn't checked in since until today so it's too late to fix it on last month in time for the stats but figure she can lose the "NWI", here's what she posted, the previous would've been last week's:
PW:231
CW: 228 (just put this in June)
She's good about letting me know when she's not going to be able to weigh in so I'm guessing it was one of those times I came into group not at where I left off like I should have (thankfully doesn't happen often). Thanks!

Can we do a test for the step challenge? Could you copy the data below and paste it with ctrl+shft+v into Shape Shifters cell AX51? You'll see how it extracts the steps into cells AX48:BD48 with the corresponding dates immediately above. So you can then copy from there into the steps table, again using ctrl-shft-v (in Google spreadsheets, ctrl-shft-v pastes the values of what was copied, not the formulas)
Although we can ask for a specific format, a variety of formats are handled as well as single/double spacing:
————————————-
Sunday 6/1 steps = 12,345steps for Monday 6/2 are 32123
Tue 6/3 - 10101
6/4 steps — 212126/5 12321
————————————-If this doesn't work for you, I'll stop campaigning for it. 😂🙂

@frankwbrown I did it, but it was AX53 not AX51, which held your instructions to Ctrl Shift V below…
Look at it and see if it did what you wanted it to do…
Thank you for the extra attention and instructions…formulas are not easy for me. If you call me hopeless I'll fly to Cali and pop you one! LOL

@jessicakrall8 Yes, AX53… I shifted things a little after I posted here.
It did do what I expected, but I had to tweak it to properly handle "6/4 steps — 21212", which has not two hyphens but one em dash (—). But did you notice what it did?
The text you copied contained hypothetical posts of date and steps, in a variety of crazy/whacky formats. The goal is to extract the dates and steps in a way that makes it easy to record them in our step challenge table.
- You posted some multiline text into cell AX53
- The lines of text were inserted into cells AX53 thru AX59
- The cells AX50 thru BB50 suddenly contain the steps that are embedded in the pasted text
- You can't here because the text is garbage, but it would be easy now to copy directly from cells AX50 thru BB50, and looking at the date that appears in cell AX48:AX49, you would know which column to paste into in the step challenge table.
- In this case, AX48:AX49 says the first step value (in cell AX50) is for June 1st, so you would post into column D in the row corresponding to the person whose steps they are. (let's say they were my steps.)
- This would result in the five days of steps being inserted into cells D54 thru H54.
If you want to take it all the way, try copying my actual steps for yesterday and today from below, paste into cell AX53, then copy from AX50:AY50 and paste (ctrl+shift+v) into cell E54.
Daily step goal: 10,000
🔹Mon 6/2: 10156
🔹Tue 6/3: 10001The beauty of this for me is, even last month when people posted 5 to 7 days all at once, I only had to copy/paste/copy/paste once. And I'm not keying the numbers, I'm pasting them, so no typo.

@jessicakrall8
FYI: I hate scrolling back and forth between the step challenge and the weigh-in area.
So I added a couple hyperlinks to make it easier/faster:- the hyperlink in cell D1 = "jump to steps" — jumps down to cell A52.
- the hyperlink in cell A47 = "jump to weigh-ins" — jumps back up to cell A6.

Hi @lauren_989 hope you're having a good start of the week! On Mission Slimpossibles vegan4lyfe2012 would like to move her weigh in day to Friday please. Thank you!

@frankwbrown can you take a look at the %of members in the green? The formula is not accurate, I am just seeing this now. At least for waistaways and mission slimpossible. Not sure about the others.

@frankwbrown nevermind! I got it figured out!

@lauren_989 I just realized we start a new month this Sunday, the 29th!
I suppose that means you'll be making a copy of "New Copy of BLANK SPREADSHEET 5 WEEK" for July. Have you done that yet?
I just copied some code changes for Shape Shifters from "F2F June 2025" to the blank spreadsheet. If you've already created the July spreadsheet, I'll need to update it as well.
