Hot here yesterday. Dog training kinda wiped me and the pooches out. Another hot one today, thunderstorms this afternoon, then cooling off for the weekend. Good for the dog trial in CT we are attending this weekend.
Off to work. Glad to have AC.
Onward and downward ;-)

Good morning!
It has been unusually cool and wet here. I have a feeling we'll pay for that later in the summer. I had four ticks on me again yesterday. I am so frustrated. Two were on my private parts. That hurts! I have the stuff to treat the yard, but I need 24 hours with no rain after application and dry grass to put it down. That has not happened since mid May. More rain possible today and Sunday. Next week, at least now, is dry. Connie still won't let us move.
I have worked really hard outside for the last couple of days. I burned brush yesterday, which I think is where the ticks came from. Today might have to be more of a rest day. Perhaps cleaning in the garage.
Have a great day!

Good morning gentlemen.
The tick problem sounds like a real pain, Steve. Good luck with the weather, so you can take action.
We got the grandkids last night. Have to get them to school this morning, meet their bus at their house at noon (early release today) so they can do their daily chores. The DGS has a soccer team pizza party at 5. More kid stuff for the next week. How to parents do it all?
DS and DDIL are in the air now, heading for New York for a wedding. They have a hotel near Time Square. Never been to New York, Myself. Never wanted to. Not a city guy.

Mornin'
Steve, those ticks are ridiculous. I can't imagine having so many in one yard.
I didn't hear about the death on Katahdin; there's a website with a list of fatalities there through the years. I've attempted the climb several time but only summited once. We used to camp in the park there once a year, amazing place. Never been up Mt. Washington, although hiked up to the lodge on its shoulder, "Lake of the Clouds". Both mtns have claimed lives. Have climbed seven of the white mtns, I think.
Doc prescribed Ezetimube (Zetia) on top of Atorvastatin. Might have to stop eating burgers and fries…
Bill, good news on the hip, it seems.
Sam, I wish the best to DS.

Good Morning
Had trouble sleeping a bit last night as did Heather, which made my waking at 5am a joy! I had my first workshop at 6am and then practice for 30 more minutes till 7:30. Nothing till 1:15 so I am out the door to start watering and do a run to the grocers. Had another good PT session yesterday which ended up with me actually doing the workout twice without issue, just some soreness but frankly I feel about as good as I have in a while. Progress on my hips helps my back and my walking. There is tendonitis there now so it will take a while but they are going to slowly bring back into a better exercise routine as a base. Another beautiful day in paradise here.
