    Rise and shine out there…

Up early (for me) for some reason—5:00. Foggy as heck out there. We had some T-storms yesterday, and there was a tornado in Ayre, I heard. Went to DGS's 5th grade band concert, about 40 kids on stage. Jonny alternated between the snare drum, tympani drum and xylophone.

Cooler today, I didn't really get much exercise last two days, although did take a walk early morning. Hopefully will get out today, although heavy rain is forecasted. We'll see. Book club tonight and DD invited me over for brunch tomorrow...

Trying to find best way to inject epoxy into cracks on my piano bridge. Ordered some hypodermic needles, which will get into the finer cracks, but will need to see if I can pour the epoxy into the open syringe, or suck it into the needle. Recommended to use West Systems, which is a bit pricey, so will test on scrap-wood with hardware store epoxy first.

Anybody done anything like this? (Dave?)

Have a good day everyone. Onward and hopefully downward.

    Good morning!

I woke up with itching and pain at 4:15 this morning. I finally got out of bed at 5:00. Ugh!

We are expecting rain this morning, and then again tomorrow night. Then, we might see a few days of sunshine. I really need to get the yard mowed, and then have a dry day to put down the tick repellent.

I'm not entirely sure what is on tap for today. My enthusiasm for getting the yard in better shape has gone WAY down with these ticks. I also am having trouble sticking with cleaning in the garage. It is very overwhelming.

The curmudgeon is coming out in me this morning. I will turn that around and have a great day.

Bill, I am glad the you are seeing health progress.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

One day in of our week hosting the grandkids and I already feel the weight gain. Bacon, pizza, donuts - not on my usual menu.

Take the kids to DGS's last soccer game, then pass them off to their other grandpa for the afternoon. He'll drop them back at the house after supper.

Looking at temps in the 80s today and near record high in the 90s tomorrow and Monday. AC weather.

    Good Morning

I had a great day on the first day of workshops at Winterfest. Even the theory class went well. Usually I end up staring at the screen and drool during those. 2 more this morning starting at 6:00am and 2 more to go. It really helps that I am feeling pretty good and am beginning to feel more like myself and wanting to do things again. Temps are mild in the 60's but the w inds are still whipping up pretty good. I fired up the Weber last night for a tri-tip. Its like having a powered billows on the coals. Coals start much faster but they also burn faster if you don't adjust the vents just right. In between the workshops and concerts today I got stuff to do like finish the watering, do some laundry, begin to organize the makeshift office area in here. Steve, the instructor down in Kentucky for one of my penny whistle classes was squirming a bit on camera. She finally apologized and mentioned she had just found some ticks she needs to deal with and they were 'annoying her' and she hates them. She seems to enjoy them as much as you do.
