    Mornin' gents.

How are you feeling today, Steve?

You guys really do "prop" me up, LOL.

"Sermon on the mound" story was pretty neat. I had not heard about it, so I googled. Catholics know how to have a good time.

Saw Dave's post on FB about his hike. Saved the forest and hiked almost 20 miles. If you were still in the Army, I would put you up for a medal. You were not without a propeller that day.

How is Sam and Joanne doing?

Supposed to go pike/bass fishing this evening with a buddy on my wee boat.

    Onward and downward ;-)

All fogged in here. Tomorrow it's supposed to be in the 90s. Summer has arrived for sure.

Yesterday I drove to Walmart to get some things and pick up syringes without needles from the pharmacy for my piano's cracked bridge repair. (Was going to use needles from an injection pen my EX no longer uses.) Drove home and discovered I didn't have my phone, tracked it down on laptop and it was back at Walmart. Drove to Walmart and found phone at the service desk. Phew. Drove to EX's to get the needles and discovered they didn't fit on the syringes. Back to Walmart and bought other syringes with needles. Finally got home and needles are too thin to work with the epoxy I have… Exciting day. I did get in a nice walk at the park before all this nonsense. And skipped Bible study to avoid colliding with their donuts, and another get-together last night to avoid cookies.

    Onward and downward.

    Good morning!

We missed the wild storms last night. I will probably need to water plants tonight.

I am feeling a little better now. Not sure what got me. I am working through cutting my anti-anxiety meds in half, but I don't think that was it.

Several things on tap for today, but nothing strenuous. I plan to start the bathroom painting project today by removing the baseboard trim and starting on drywall repair around the shower/tub tile.

I have used my kayak only a couple of times in the last three years. I am thinking I should get it out again and see if it is time to hang it up, or use it more. I enjoy walking and biking, but the kayak is a different kind of exercise. The kayak is a good core exercise, but it is also a gentle healing of the soul being on the water. I think Lee and Mike can attest to that.

Prayers continue for Sam and for Joanne.

Bob, good to "see" you again.

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning,

Sam's tired, Joanne is about the same.

Have to take DMIL to doctor today.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Yeah, yesterday's hike was a long one and I am really not in that great of hiking shape. I am a little sore today. Interestingly, my lower back hurts, not my legs.

From a mental health standpoint yesterday's hike made me feel a lot better. I have been battling with some pretty dark feelings lately. Spending time on the trail, in a beautiful ancient forest put a smile back on my face.

I have an appointment at the bank this morning (when will I ever finish this stuff?), then Rita wants me to drive her on a few errands.

    Good Morning

We had a good trip to Eugene. We discovered how acclimated we have become to the weather on the coast. Once it climbed over 75° we found it rather warm, especially in the sun as we walked a path along the Willamette. A year ago we would have found that rather coolish. Today I will try and get organized on some projects that need attention. PT in the afternoon. I hope to be able to start stretching my hamstrings without screwing anything else up. Walking with tight hammies can wear on ones lower back.

Unexpectedly popped up yesterday to 81 degrees of course when I was mowing lawn. A bit warm. Too much ups and downs to get use to the cold and warm days lately.

Getting outdoors always help with my "dark" or depressing thoughts . I drag myself out of the house for sure.

Good luck with Joanne Sam and also dealing with DMIL.

Wanted to rotate my tires yesterday but unfortunately they are "too old" for the tire company to rotate them even though they are in great shape and have 8/32" of tread and sidewalls fell nice and supple too having been garaged in between driving. I think my next door neighbor will help me rotate them.

Getting caught up on diary keeping and other busy stuff.
