    In the office first. Apparently Friday's is "Hawai'ia Shirt" day. Of course noboby told me. So I am confident with my Nationals Baseball Tommy Bahama Hawaiian shirt, I may get back some cred lost during my Miami Vice incident earlier in the week.

    Mary - so damnnn proud of you! CONGRATS!

    Dinner with my GN and boyfriend tonight. I think they call DW and I and ask us if we'd like to go to dinnner from time to time as it is a "free date" night for them. They know I'll always pick up their tab. Its a racket. DW says I am cynical. Who knows.

    Looking forward to a three day break next week. Been 100mph for a month now.

    Good morning.

    Of course it's a free date night, Skip. But you get to spend some time imparting wisdom to them along the way. My nieces and nephews know that their repayment will come in the form of dealing with my estate when I'm gone since I don't have kids of my own. Knowing what I went through with my parents' estate, a dinner and a beer here and there is a wise investment.

    • Prayers for Joanne's recovery and starting to feel better.
    • My DW would ride a motorcycle across country with me, but she wouldn't camp. He idea of roughing it was Motel 6. Besides, they would leave the light on for you.
    • A/C man coming this morning for what I hope is a routine checkup.
    • Speaking of checkups my blood work was all good.
    • Meeting this afternoon with Vet Club preparing for Independence Day celebration in the 'hood.
    • Attending local theatre play this evening.

    I once referenced Crissy from threes company to my super young "juniors" department team. Blank looks all around.

    I agree Mary. Super loss.

    Bird Sitting is going great. We open the pigeon coup in the am, feed them and switch out water. At night we close up the coup and make sure they still have water. It takes longer to walk down there than the actual chores. Yesterday we cleaned the coup which added 15 minutes or so. I found 10 eggs yesterday which I tossed into the horse arena. They have plastic ones to replace. She doesn't want any chick's right now. Most are black and white but a yellow male joined the herd a couple of years ago so there is a little variety. Probably 30 total.

    HummingBirds are easy...fill up feeders every other day. Probably 30 of them too. We only feed 2 of the ravens. They show up randomly. There are a dozen or so of them circling around d but the friendly ones come by for food a couple of times a day. The male is distinctive so whe know when the right pair arrive.

    OOur friends came back after their coastal road trip. 8 think we are hitting a few breweries this afternoon
