Injection Site Reaction?

After not losing an ounce after 9 months on Wegovy, my doc switched me to 15 ml Zepbound. It's working much better without the terrible constipation I experienced on Wegovy; but I do get a raised itchy red hive-like reaction around the injection site 24 hours after injection. Other than that, it is working. Anybody else?

I have not had any reaction like that. I’m guessing you’re experienced with administering injections, if you were previously on Wegovy. Any sort of allergic reaction is worrying, though, as it could get worse with each dose. I would mention it to your doctor.

My doc says the injection site reaction is super common with Zepbound. I take Benadryl over the first 48 hours after injection and apply hydrocortisone to help with the itch.

Ah, that’s a relief. Glad it isn’t anything serious! 😊
