    Good morning gentlemen.

Today is Sassy's 4th birthday. How time flies. Bought her a spiky ball that she'll love to chew. She had one of these that lasted two years, then we bought another that lasted two days. Hope this is one of the longer-lasting ones. She is a hard chewer.

High 80s again today. I planned to be in the mountains, but the dentist called with an appointment for Rita, so I'll hike another day.

Gotta luv Sassy being…well Sassy with her spiky ball. We use to time how fast our cat would shred an object stuffed with catnip at x-mas time.

Probably upper 80s here today. 94degrees+ yesterday in PDX

    Nice early ride today.

    Stay comfy all>

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY SASSY!!!

We need rain and my friend in mid-west has not sent any this way.

Upper 80's with heat index of 99 at noon today.

Pablo can destroy a Kong chew toy in less than two hours

Went to different barbershop for haircut today, it got cut but does not feel good; usual barbershop is closed for week. Payback for my impatience, but I had been trying to get cut for several weeks.

Good morning (he says at 7PM).

T-storms this evening, first rain we've had in a while. Grass has already started turning brown, usually doesn't happen till late August.

DD camping by herself in North Carolina near Great Smokeys. She's looking at an acupuncture school there and getting in some hiking while there.

I spent all yesterday at other DD's working on their piano. Did repairs in the morning and then tuning the rest of the day. Was happy with how it sounded at the end; left with a list of mechanical adjustments it needs, but that's work for some other time.

Hope to finish repairs on my piano tomorrow or Thursday so I can stand it back upright and put the parts spread all over back in, put my equipment back in storage, and find my livingroom floor again. Then I'll have to tune it again of course, but I need the practice. I was told newbies will take all day, and after lots of practice get tuning down to an hour; I'll believe that when it happens.

Dave, do you use epoxy in your wood turning? Do I need a respirator, or can I just open the windows and turn on a fan?

Trying to keep to 3 simple meals a day and avoid the between meal stuff, unless it's a piece of fruit or some veggies. Keeping busy is one way to stay on plan.
