    I'm up early after a straight 7.5 hrs of sleep. Dang that felt good after 3 nights in the recliner. Had a great time glamping with the littles and bigs this weekend! Now they off to TX til Friday visiting the great gramma on ddil side. Hopefully not near floods.

    2 bucks came thru here at 415am. I have all the doors and windows open, its gorgeous out right now.

    We'll double team 3 yards of mowing this morning and start vacation, like real relaxation. My neighbor needs help with his. He had surgery last month and isnt up to it....

    Might even play tourist around a 50mi span, over a couple days. Get some fishing in, some boat rides, walks, the library, some dh bonding time. That's my plan

    Good ds is helping with tires Sam. Ugghh

    Good morning.

    Somebody - and I assure you it wasn't me - decided he needed to lick himself with utmost vigor at 4-something this morning and woke me up.

    He sleeps in his kennel, but we keep our door open a couple inches so he can check on us during the night. Seems to work pretty well, but he decided to come into the room last night at some point so we could appreciate his bendiness.

    Good morning BBB friends.

    I am up early, finishing breakfast at 4:30 and packing lunch for a hike in the Olympic Mountains. I am bound for a high trail I haven't been on in a couple years. Really eager to do this one.

    Sassy knows I am up to something. She isn't happy when she sees my pack come into the kitchen. She's snoring at my feet as I type this. though. She has better sense than to be running around before dawn.

    We have three appointments today, two down one to go; and insurance is calling wanting to know why DW has not been to GP since getting out of hospital; believe these other doctors we are seeing knows more than nurse we would see.

    DS will bring tires after work and put on car and donut in trunk; he scheduled Toyota for servicing early morning tomorrow. DW has appointment in Athens tomorrow to check how breast is healing.

    Continues HOT and HUMID with no relief in sight.
