Good morning!
I have had a lot of unusual things going on this week which have left me exhausted. I still need to get my truck home today. I also have another chiropractor appointment. We could get more rain today/tonight, which we don't need. I do have some cleanup to do in the yard. We had some minor water in the basement and garage, and I have most of that cleaned up.
Have a great day!

Mornin' gents.
Working for a living...
Sweated my tookus off yesterday doing yard work. Thankfully, the heat and humidity has gone away.
Gave away my inflatable to a young couple who love fishing yesterday. It was a fun boat, but it ain't making the trip to CO. Photo is from 2013. I had to replace the actual inflatable part of the boat once since then because of a leak I could not patch.
Gonna miss it. Lots of fond memories fishing with my old girl Tess. I often called it Tess' boat.
Onward and downward ;-)

Good morning gentlemen.
Much cooler today, after several days in the 90s and high 80s. Looking at 68. I have a lot of cleaning up to do in my shop, and we have errands to run.
Always bittersweet when you get rid of old companions like your inflatable, Lee. Looking ahead to your Colorado fishing, you should read the books of John Gierach. If you aren't familiar with him, he wrote wonderful books about his flyfishing life, largely in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain West.

Morning gents
Cool boat Lee, looks like fun, as long as it doesn’t get punctured while you’re in it.
Steve, that’s a crazy amount of rain. Could you rebuild/repair the tranny yourself? The YouTube videos have nearly how to do everything now.
Went for an early hike this morning. Threw my clothes on, went through the drive-thru and did a nice loop hike in the Harvard Forest for a few hours. Temperature is actually a fresh 68° now, at 10:30. What a nice change from the stifling humidity and heat.
Stress test was surprising yesterday. BP was so high before starting they decided to switch to a drug induced heart stress; felt like an anxiety attack or something, but soon was over. My BP was 195/90! Not sure why except combined anxiety over the test and stress over family stuff lately. This morning at home it was 126/53, the usual range for me. Decided I need to worry less, eat better and make sure I walk an hour or more every day. Sigh…Onward and downward

Good Morning
Another cool day on tap here. It seems much of the West Coast has cooled off. I am not sure what the day brings. I have to finish some watering and then likely will get back to reorganizing this room to make more functional and less chaotic so the office area works and I can do some studying/reading in here. There will be a walk somewhere in the day. I didn't get one in yesterday. A trip to our local True Value will enable me to finally spray the Rhody's with copper fungicide tomorrow morning when the air is still. I am looking forward to starting a book from the library I picked up by Arnaldur Indriðason, an Icelandic murder mystery writer my son introduced me years ago. In a perfect world I will be sitting out back in my rocker with a cuppa and our glorious weather as I read.
